Wonka show on @netflix.com is like Set Design the Show mixed with wannabe-influencers trying to act their way out of an escape room.

When was the last car-centric TV show? Dukes of Hazard? Knight Rider? Has there been anything more recent that, you know, lasted?

Now watching Kraven the Hunter. This isn’t as bad as reviews let on. The Cinematography is good. The acting is good. The story is fine. Pace is painfully slow. The stunt and CG work are from the era of Toby Maguire’s Spider-Man and audiences have grown more skeptical since then.

Now watching The Smashing Machine (2025) Dwayne Johnson deserves a nod for this role. Can’t imagine anyone else playing this part. Emily Blunt is totally underrated in this performance. Excellent photography by Maceo Bishop Benny Safdie (writer/director) is one to watch!

With the popularity of #F1 racing growing, Maybe @paramountpictures.bsky.social and Jerry Bruckheimer need to think about a Days of Thunder prequel (maybe a show?) exploring young Cole Trickle’s days “running open wheels” before turning to #NASCAR.

Paul Bettany in Amadeus on Starz is not only worth your time, but a worthy successor to F. Murray Abraham Oscar-winning performance. Will Sharpe is fantastic, with a new take on Mozart. This has a lot of potential. Can't wait for the rest of the season. Also accolades to the production teams!
