Last week, the Interagency Autism Coordinating Committee (IACC) passed its historic 2026 Strategic Plan. One of the reasons it is historic is the inclusion of Lifespan Domain III: Improving Communication and Access for Nonspeaking and Minimally Speaking Autistic Individuals (found on page 199).

Years ago, our family searched for ways Elizabeth could express herself. Because she learned to type, she graduated as a VALEDICTORIAN, released a book and music album, and presented at dozens of conferences. Not to mention, she founded C4A! And she's not stopping any time soon.
