Greene County Sheriff's deputies are back to targeting immigrants in our community. We're grateful that diligent reporting is keeping their unlawful behavior in the public eye.

Central VA campaign blows past $45K, now aiming for $120K to support immigrant food needs
IT STARTED AS A 45-THOUSAND DOLLAR GOAL. NOW, A CAMPAIGN TO HELP IMMIGRANT FAMILIES HAS RAISED WELL OVER THAT -- AND ORGANIZERS WANT TO RAISE EVEN MORE.

We're grateful for the local reporting that has caused the VA Attorney General to open an investigation into the Greene County Sheriff's office. Meanwhile, we're starting to see bond applications from Greene families. Can you help make sure we can fulfill them all? secure.actblue.com/donate/ccfre...

We’re outraged that Greene County law enforcement continues to target our immigrant neighbors, in what appear to be stops based on racial profiling. Our friends @indivisiblecville.bsky.social have compiled a list of ways to turn anger and frustration into action ⬇️

An elder detained days before the birth of his first grandchild. An LGBTQ mother targeted for her sexuality back home, separated from her 7yo for 7 months. Two brothers in their early 20s, who crossed the border as children with no family, held by ICE despite eligibility for protected status.

👀 Updated ICE arrest data has dropped (h/t Deportation Data Project) ICE arrests in Virginia continue to focus on people *NOT* suspected of any crime. This has been the trend since 2025 and directly contradicts the Admin's insistence that deportations are a public safety issue.
