I thought Ukraine blew up all the diesel, that's why prices were so high. Global supply will remain the same and Russia will redirect fuel to Western markets and charge more while causing increased demand in other markets. Demand is the same supply is the same so global prices won't change.

When I was in high school drove a Datsun 210. The clutch went out and didn't work for a long time, still drove it every day. The only downside was having to shut the car off every time you had to come to a complete stop.

Safeway does this all the time. They have digital coupons that you need to scan with their app and put in your number at checkout and then it doesn't give you the sale price. Or things that are marked as a sale price don't apply at the register. They'll fix it, IF YOU catch it.

It's disgusting but I would not be concerned about CEO compensation. If they gave it all to the employees they would see about a $0.10 per hour raise. I'd be more concerned about the $2.7 billion in dividends and not the CEO's $30M.

So now it's a problem if people pay for healthcare but don't use it? Maybe we should all stop buying insurance and just pay for healthcare as needed. And if someone gets hit with a really high bill we could all pitch in a few bucks to help them. Maybe just add it to our taxes.

And all the debt they accumulated by leveraging those Investments, is paid off by their kids using those investments. Investments with decades of growth far beyond the interest rates of those loans. Investments and all that growth, they get completely tax-free because of the "step up basis".

When we were in Paris we found a fully automated self-cleaning bathroom. And that one has a time limit as well. The only downside, if there's a line you're going to be waiting a bit. The cleaning cycle isn't exactly fast.

My wife was the same way, her whole thing was to not have anything around. My personality is if you try to deny me I'll find a way, it's like it becomes a challenge. Not in an actual sense, the gas station was a couple blocks away and I stopped every morning for coffee. It was a psychological game.
