Holy! I didn't expect this to blow up!

CommissarTheDude @commissarthedude.bsky.social · 08/10/2026

Terminid TF made for today's #octransfur prompt! I made the code a little more obvious this time around, but I've hidden others in my other pieces.

Reposting this, because I'm incredibly proud of this piece. With a huge influx of activity on this account, I'd like for more people to see it.

The second I start making TF artwork again, everyone comes back to my account... Where did yall go?

If you are able to, I encourage you to go to your local library and check out a book that has been banned. Stand up for your right to read whatever you'd like.

CommissarTheDude @commissarthedude.bsky.social · 05/10/2026

Bringing awareness to Banned Book Week. The freedom to read is part of what makes democracy work, and restricting access to books is unjustifiable in the vast majority of cases. While the current book that I am reading hasn't been banned (to my knowledge) several books in my home library have been.

Whoa this is the most activity I've gotten in a long time! Yello everyone!

CommissarTheDude @commissarthedude.bsky.social · 03/10/2026

I'm going to start hiding little codes inside of my artwork for Octransfur. I've got one code hidden in today's, and I intend to have some more cloaked messages placed in the next few that I create.

First #octransfur prompt that I've done this year! Wanted to express my thoughts on car dependent infrastructure with this one. I go more in depth as to the exigence on my FA. #transformation #octransfur2026

Beat Brothers in Arms: Road to Hill 30. Final verdict, it was actually pretty good! It had it's issues, especially with the performance being iffy at times, and the gameplay loop getting stale after some time, I'd recommend it! Also, the loading screens suck in the best way possible.

Octransfur 2026 plans! (Key in alt text) As I've said earlier, I'll be a bit busy during the month, especially in the middle section of the month, but I'll still be able to get some stuff down! More details on my FA Journal: www.furaffinity.net/journal/1143...

Pink - Will not be posting artwork
Teal - Will potentially be posting artwork
Magenta - Looking to trade or collaborate on artwork (4 is taken)
Blue - Will be posting artwork.

It's that time of year again! If you're not really into transformation stuff, feel free to mute #octransfur over the course of this month, since I'll be contributing to it quite a bit. However, if that is something ya like, that's alright too!

010

CommissarTheDude @commissarthedude.bsky.social · 29/09/2026

I'm not going to request anything, since that's not something I personally enjoy doing. I'm just here to say that ya make great stuff!

What do you mean Ace Combat 8 is releasing THIS WEEK? I thought that it was coming out later in the month like around the 15th of October, but NOOOOO. Probably won't buy it on launch day because I'm still unemployed (though I'm getting a job soon), but very excited to play it when the time comes.

I kinda want to doodle one of my mutuals for one of the Octransfur prompts (yes I'm starting now, I'm going to be very busy during the event itself). You know who you are 0w0

Had nothing else better to do, so I sketched out this evil skeleton guy.

Doodle of my boy Legget, I'm enjoying Brothers in Arms much more than I thought I would be. I didn't know that I had a knack for strategy games. Such a shame Gearbox abandoned this series.

I know that I haven't been doing much TF for a while... but I think this will be a little fun!

CommissarTheDude @commissarthedude.bsky.social · 24/09/2026

I found these on the New York Public Library website btw, but I'm sure there are plenty of examples in the Gutenberg Corpus.

Don't know how many of you know about this, but what is up with book titles from around 200-400 years ago? These have to be around 25+ words each!

I've been playing Brothers in Arms: Road to Hill 30 recently. It is one of the most mixed bag games that I have ever played. The core loop of it is solid, I love maneuvering my squad around, especially in cities. But it's lows... oh boy are they low.

CommissarTheDude @commissarthedude.bsky.social · 10/09/2026

This is much more serious than alot of my other posts but I got hit by a car today. Thankfully I didn't break anything, but I've got lots of injuries and a mild concussion. Don't expect much from me in the coming weeks.

Oh yeah and if you were wondering, I use a standard HB pencil to make my stuff, mainly because I'm unemployed, but versatility is also a factor. HB pencils (at least from my experience) are excellent for doing light sketching and rendering if you've had a lot of time to get a feel for them.

CommissarTheDude @commissarthedude.bsky.social · 08/09/2026

I might take a little break from making digital artwork for a bit, mainly because I want to focus more on honing my skills, especially with anatomy and posing. My computer issues are also a factor, but I felt like this was necessary before they sprung up again. I hope you like my traditional stuff!

Little edit of some gameplay that I've been recording recently. #helldivers #helldivers2

I'm having computer issues again! Yay! Luckily it hasn't completely died yet, but I've seen this movie before, and I know how it ends. I think it would just be better if I got a new computer, and hopefully it lasts longer than 4 months under it's own power.

[UPDATE] I managed to take down the "flying monstrosities" that entered my room. All that I needed was some bug spray and my shoes. It wasn't that hard, but now my floor is covered in very slippery repellent, so that's nice! It's not so bad, a little cleaning is all that I need to do.

010

CommissarTheDude @commissarthedude.bsky.social · 05/08/2026

So while I was asleep, a bunch of horrifying bugs crawled into my bathroom - okay it wasn't a whole lot, it was two or three, but they could both fly and looked real creepy so I had good reason to be scared! I should probably invest in a screen for my windows though since I slept very well!

CommissarTheDude @commissarthedude.bsky.social · 05/08/2026

Tried to get a good night's sleep without AC tonight, since it's power intensive and not the greatest thing for the environment. The way I went about this is by opening both of my windows, BIG MISTAKE! Neither of my windows have screens that prevent insects from coming in.

I would do one of those favorite defense posts, but all of the attacks that I have gotten this year were super duper good. Huge props to all the artists that sent me stuff this year. And to everyone that I attacked, I really do hope you like the stuff that I sent ya this year! 0w0

Whelp! That was Art Fight! The main thing that I learned from this year was to pace myself, because BOY DID I NOT DO THAT! I made like 12 attacks on the second day and my momentum just ground to a halt by the time the Tour started. Glad that I participated, and will be back in 2027's fight!

It'll probably get easier to roll those R's after some practice, but I gotta let it rest for the night.

000

CommissarTheDude @commissarthedude.bsky.social · 01/08/2026

My mouth hurts a little from trying to roll my R's and get that G sound in for my Dutch. No I still don't know how to say a single word, but I want to get my pronunciation set in stone so I don't end up with a stupid American accent when I try to speak the language.

Went to the beach with my friend @commissarthedude.bsky.social and fell in the water. I appreciate the concern but I would like to be put down! #sylveon #pokemon #protogen #mamagen

Me at the beach with my friend Commissar but to keep me safe from falling into the water they've stuffed me into their swimsuit. I look very embarrassed!

Yesterday I made a plan to go on a 10k bike ride which was mostly through Central Park, but had a couple of climbs all throughout the route since I want to get better at climbing. I ended up going 15k, and I'm very impressed by that!

Oh and an added note, this hasn't confused anyone that I've spent a long time chatting with, since they've known me longer than I've had Julia as a sona. This post is mainly for my followers who I haven't chatted with often.

001

CommissarTheDude @commissarthedude.bsky.social · 28/07/2026

The fact that I use a mamagen as my fursona while being a guy and using he/him pronouns has not failed to confuse people. Yes, Julia is a gal and she is the character that I choose to represent myself, but I'm a dude irl and that's how I'm comfortable presenting myself. Hope that clears things up!
