A magical evening at the White House Christmas party. Lovely to celebrate with people who have made a real difference these past four year. 🎄

Bodega Bay’s beauty hides challenges beneath its waters. Warming seas have devastated kelp forests, threatening marine life and fishing families. Proud we took action to protect Biscayne Bay, banning rainy-season fertilizer and adopting sustainable practices to curb microplastic pollution.

I joined an insightful exchange in Sonoma County on water management innovations. Like FL, CA faces water as both a threat & a resource, balancing flood risks and drought prep. I learned about FIRO, a groundbreaking project improving water management nationwide amid intensifying climate challenges.

Let me introduce myself. I’m one of the few elected Dems left to fight for good things - including our environment- in the red state of Florida. Proud that my first Bluesky post is a win I’ve been working on for years - banning single use plastics in Miami-Dade county facilities. 🌎🌳♻️
