Launched in May, “the page uses data from customers’ activity to generate details about them in categories like Product Preferences, Interests & Hobbies, and Home & Family, which Amazon then uses to personalize users’ product experiences.”

'Has flat buttocks,' 'cusses when scared': Amazon keeps shockingly specific customer profiles. Here's how to find yours

Amazon's new 'About you' page lists many assumptions about shoppers—like their favorite brands, their hobbies, and the shape of their bodies.

Not just the #Cornell7 - we're not dealing with an isolated issue. Not just college students either. The breadth and depth of men's attitudes toward women is staggering. We're not going back on this either. #RapeCulture #Pinks

You know what's more dangerous than an undocumented immigrant who goes to work at 5AM?

Owl of the Day: Collared Owlet 📷 Cheng-Ru Tsai

Photo of owl perched on branch, description from ebird: ‘A tiny brown owl of mountains and foothills; descends into valleys and lowlands during the winter. Appears in both rufous and gray morphs, both dark above and white below with long, distinct streaks on the flanks. Tooting song, often given during the day, can be mistaken for that of a barbet, but the Collared Owlet song has four discrete notes, with the second and third notes given close together.’

If political parties are going to have closed primaries, the parties should pay for their own primaries. If taxpayer money pays for primaries, then the primaries should be open for all. Taxpayers should not be forced to pay for a voting system from which they are excluded.

Most state attorneys general released Meta from Cambridge Analytica-related claims as part of the child safety settlement. New Mexico wasn't part of that deal, and a jury there just found 26 of 29 past statements about Cambridge Analytica, hate speech and misinformation willfully deceptive.

I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. USENET groups on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched GOPHER glitter in the dark near the Tannhäuser Gate. All those moments will be lost in time, like 2400 baud modems.

I don't understand how any American can embrace the Sadism an Cruelty of the Republican Party. I'm born in the European tradition and there's no such total lack of Empthy and Sociopathic behavior even in extreme right-wing parties. Republicans want to kill Americans by legislation and they love it.
