How can anyone not love a black cat? Spoopy-cute is the cutest form of cute in my personal opinion!

This has started a convo w/ my family that ended up reminding me how after the Black Panther movie came out, there were ACTUALLY racists online bleating “what about a white panther” and I got the JOY of explaining to a few that there’s NO such thing, being black is what MAKES it a panther.

Oh my goodness, look what I found when I investigated the weird animal sound I heard under the shop buildings this morning!!! Then two angels came walking by and said, “we’re vet techs” and they had a nail clipper, dewormer and 24-hr flea medicine in their car! His head would fit in a tennis ball.

I am taking a selfie while sitting at my desk in my art studio with a tiny black cat on the table in front of me. This is a kitten about 12 to 14 weeks old, but under nourished. I am now a jungle gym.

Another day of workin’ on #DollyParton! Bang in some guide lines, shade shade shade, decide the guide lines were all wrong, do over, shading shading, little fixes, little fixes, white white white, pit in some fine lines, paint over em halfway to make em more subtle, annnd… repeat. #AcrylicPainting

My black and white acrylic painting of Dolly Parton is taking shape! I’m starting to put in some basic lines and shading in the hair and t shirt and constantly making more little fixes to the face. Need to make her jawline a little rounder, and I’m thinking of overpainting it with thinned pastel colors and fine sparkles when I’m all done.
