Your Rowan is so much more well spoken than my interpretation. I was going for a thick northern accent, heck my original assumption was that Rowan would be a Scottish rouge, not some well-read Londoner.

Rowan sits in a velvet chair, facing away from the viewer. Rowan is naked and gestures at Malcolm who is in the direction of the viewer. A slight point to the ear and a clawed finger hint at a draconic transformation, a slight swell of the chest suggests something else.

I figured I'd post an old comic of mine from a 2020 anthology project called Polymorph. My submission was CobraXMongoose. The other submissions were @proxer.bsky.social and @littlenapoleon.bsky.social 1/2

A soldier in an authoritarian regime walks an empty street next to an elevated highway. On the wall near him is a large poster of the authoritarian leader and the slogan 'Cobra Protects'. In red spray paint some one has: struck a red line through the word 'Protects', painted an 'X' over the authoritarian leader's face, and scrawled 'Mongoose' at the base of the poster. A rebel waits in the shadow of a building with a knife. As the soldier comes around the corner the rebel holds a knife to the soldier's throat and pulls him into a dark room. They stare each other down.

The rebel and the soldier kiss, then begin to disrobe. The room is bare, with cracked plaster walls and lit only by a few candles. An assault rifle leans against the wall. The soldier sets the rebel on the bed as she straddles his hips with her legs. Her ear appears lightly longer than before.

The soldier strips of his uniform revealing scales and a slight discoloration to his skin as the rebel watches from the bed. A coat of fur trailing from her hair and the start of a tail pressing down from the base of her spine. Her ears have grown more outwards, cupping to direct her hearing towards the soldier. She drags her fingers along her hip. Her new claws rake against the growing fur. Her tail grows long enough to flick and the fur along her neck has spread around her collar to her chest. A hint of fang is visible under her curled lips. She gets up and pushes down the soldiers uniform revealing a scaled tail. The soldiers discoloration reveals itself as thick striped bands of black and gold. The rebels fur overtakes most of her torso as her ears shift up her head. The soldier runs his fingers through her hair and she looks up and smiles at him.

The soldier becomes more serpentine as the rebel resembles a mongoose. They hold each other closely, pulling their partner by the waist. They move towards the edge of the bed and the serpent soldier begins to wrap around his furry rebel. She leans back as they kiss passionately. Lying back on the bed the snack and mongoose intertwine, writhing, struggling, fighting, lost in the tangle.

A little bit of fan art for @thetransformiss.bsky.social. She makes fun comics and illustrated stories about magic and identity that continue to warm my heart.

Mira Alcott, the Transformistress, swipes her magical stylus. She has a mischievous grin, and says "You're going to LOVE the new you! I guarantee it." as magical energy glitters around her. She floats in front of a cityscape.

My old trans coming-out comic that I made before I joined Bluesky. I figure Pride is a good time for a repost. Happy Pride everyone! 🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍🌈

The scene is cool shades of blue and purple. A masculine figure stands alone in a dress, in front of a small mirror propped against the door. She turns around looking at herself in the mirror and begins to twirl. Her ankle catches and she falls to the ground. Her body shatters and egg yolk spills out of the cracks.

As the figure pushes herself off the ground her outer blue shell falls away revealing a pink, feminine form underneath. She flips her hair back with a flourish and is able to see herself for the first time. Despite the hearts that continue to appear around her she begins to panic. Her confusion grows into a shreik as she's overcome with a mixture of joy, fear, and confusion.

Last thing from Furnal Equinox 2025. This one was just for me.

An innocent snake lady wishes you well in the new lunar year. Immediately behind her, a sexy yet sinister secretary bird lady swings her ax at the snake woman.

1.5 hrs, I'm trying to get over the "I need several hours to make anything artistically meaningful" and that means doing a little every day. Here's today's study

Color study of an arctic riverbed. The sky is dark and a large glacial wall lines the side of the frozen river.

Had a lot of fun with the sleeves

A selkie lies prone on the ground, tail curled up into the air behind her. Her fur is open at the front to allow her human forearms to come out so she can prop her head up. She is staring at the viewer with big glassy eyes with her tongue sticking out.

Trying to block out shapes with solid colors. A bit of a step away from my usual approach.

A roughly drawn color study of a dirt street in a fictional arid town scene through a street level window. The figures are loosely defined and the colors are bold and simple. A hooded figure rests with their head on their arm at a table in the middle ground, just outside of the viewer's window. An empty class and a bottle of some drink sit on the table figure is resting at. There is a shoddy frame and old canopy hung over the table. In the center background is another figure leaning against the frame of a door frame. Someone sits on the dirt in an alleyway, right of the door frame and building. Their arms rest on their legs.

It's that time of year again where the yule cat comes to dress up all the poor souls who haven't been gifted with the proper clothes. The kind that they would feel the most comfortable in.

A woman in a sweater dress rapidly transforms into a large cat monster. Fur erupts out between split seams in her clothes as she grows and develops feline features. Her hair grows loose and wild out of her ponytail. In the shadow of her face can be seen the glimmer of teeth and a manic searching eye with a slit pupil. A naked tail sprouting fur bursts out of the rear of her dress. The tail pulls the fabric along with it. She holds a bra in her lengthening hand hidden behind her. She says: "O-oh no, sweetie. Do you not have any new clothes to wear from the holidays? D-don't worry. I-I have a nice dress you can wear. Boys don't wear dresses? Sweetie, do you know who you're talking to?"

The classic tale of man meets bush, man crawls into bush, other man has a disagreement with bush. Rowan's story hasn't come out yet, but you can find the game here: littlenapoleon.itch.io/changelingta… #Malcolm

Malcolm encourages Rowan to follow him in to the bramble. Though reluctant to enter due to his injuries he concedes and moves toward the vines. The vines react to his presence and swipe at his hand, leaving a deep gash. With a mix of shock and anger Rowan grips a vine of the bramble, winding back his prosthetic arm to strike the plant.

Geez, I've really dumbed Malcolm down for the sake of narrative convenience. The idea that he would survive the war with this level of self-preservation is absurd to me. Rowan's story hasn't come out yet, but you can find the game here: littlenapoleon.itch.io/changelingta…

Having entered the woods they mention Hansel and Gretel. All the while a mysterious bramble of vines opens up behind Malcolm, inviting him in with a view of a surreal picnic with toadstool chairs, and glowing plants. Even the color of the sky beyond the bramble is off. Malcolm crawls into the opening of the bramble and Rowan remarks on the ominous nature of the plant.
