Superman actor, David Corenswet's Grandpa is the inventor of the CHOOSE YOUR OWN ADVENTURE series of books and authored over fifty of them. Perhaps the biggest reason I became a reader as a young man... between those books and comics.

I'm not lying when I say that I teared up watching @jamesgunn.bsky.social 's new Superman trailer. It hit on all levels. That kid with the flag. Pa Kent. Krypto. Superman saving the girl from the exploding propane tanks. Brining an electric guitar version of John Williams' score. Reeve vibes.

How cool would a PRIME Omnibus be? It'll never happen but damn... that would be cool.

Movies I typically watch in that week between Christmas & New Years when my industry is absolutely dead: The Great Escape, Big Jake, Christmas Vacation, Die Hard, Dirty Dozen, Inglourious Basterds, Unforgiven, Pale Rider... & I think I'll add Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare to the list this year.

When I was a kid... I'd look down from my window onto a full sized window painting of superheroes displayed by VARIETY COMICS at Western & Wilson in Chicago & make up stories. They went out of biz in the mid-2010's. I own 1 of the signs they displayed when I was a kid. In my freakin' living room!

Hoult is 35. Perfect age to lock him down for 4 or 5 Solomon Kane movies. The campaign starts here :)

3/4 of the organizing team for Pots & Panels is great. I would very much like 100% to be there. This IS a subtweet.

Vrabel or Ben Johnson for different reasons. Period. nobody else.

Bears are a dumpster fire. The HC hire is the most important decision in the 100+ year history of the Chicago Bears.

I simply have fucking nothing to say. A fucking Senator.

Redistricting, a sustained campaign of misinformation, the entire right staying on message, even if the message was a lie. They played the long con & won & now those who voted against their own self-interest in the name of hate will understand what people w/brains have been saying all this time.

I imagine we'll get a lot of fucking Republicans offering thoughts and prayers today.

Completely reorganized the apartment. Cleaned and discarded a bunch of junk. Tomorrow... Some emails about money. Some pots & Panels work. Some comic book series work. And getting set for this career pivot. Getting my mind right.

Been super-depressed as of late... due to bad news professionally in jobbjob life. But... reorganized... and getting my mind right for a career pivot. I cleaned the entire home last couple days. Office is immaculate.
