This @dorianwright.bsky.social idiot: “With Christa McAuliffe set to be the 1st teacher in space, NASA had arranged a satellite broadcast of the full mission into television sets in many schools, but the general public didn’t have access to this…”

In your opinion, what is the best N64 game that isn’t Mario or Zelda related?

Just won this. It’s a 1950s Bristol Board, silk-screened display ad. It’s over two-feet high and is one of earliest examples of Mighty Mouse marketing collateral used for in-store display advertisements support. Generally used for toy displays, etc… this motherfucker’s all mine!

So I just got an itch and decided to upgrade my “top 50 or so” favorite books to 4 mil Mylites and Full Backs. This right here is fucking straight up, comic book murderers row. I still got another 50 or so waiting in the wings… but, c’mon… right?

My oldest is going to see Rocky Horror this weekend and I'm so excited for her. I spent way too much of my youth going to midnight movies and Rocky Horror was top of the list. I loved everything about the movie and the experience... such a great time.

Here’s a shot of that preliminary cover work that I bought several years ago. Yes, I got the sketch FIRST, then hunted down the issue:

have a couple of #DarwynCooke pages, and this rare little warm up sketch of Spider-Man I was lucky enough to run across many years ago… I adore this. Handful of strokes and this guy captures the *soul* of Spidey… is there anything this guy couldn’t take your breath away with?

#ComicBookOfTheDay #Witchblade #SDCCExclusive #DarwynCooke The reason I love this little exclusive is because I own Darwyn’s preliminary cover work for this issue. It’s a nice little piece of Cooke original artwork that I just love to pull out and stare at every now and then…

These “rivalries from start to finish” are fantastic. The Hogan/Andre feud is so great. It took years… literally… to tell that story. Such great storytelling!

Excellent morning at the local Record Show. Every 3 months or so they put on a local record/vinyl/music show in Marietta, GA and it’s fantastic. I’m starting to develop a small group of punk/new wave sellers that I hit up first thing and they always have want list items… 3 solid pickups today:
