Sleep tight, Kimba. You were the best dog a gal could have and I'll miss you dearly.

35: A Wizard of Earthsea by Ursula K. Le Guin I dont know how else to describe the writing but soothing, like listening to a song sung by hearthfire. Very thankful there's so many of these, because I don't want to leave just yet.

34: Radiohead: In Rainbows Little repetitive, every song pulls the same trick at least once, but it's also a pretty damn good trick so I still think it's stellar

33: Radiohead: OK Computer I know Thom Yorke's a massive bellend but I can't lie; this is a perfect album and maybe the third one I've ever heard that I'd give the title to

32: Fate/Stay Night: Fate Route Good beginning, great ending, but the rest was a drag. First time in a while a character's misogyny fully took me out of the experience, but Shirou's inner monologues were painful to read whenever they involved Tohsaka or Saber. Sure hoping that improves.

31: Monster Hunter Stories Annoying First and last 10% are good, maybe even great, but the rest is just pulling slot machines over and over and over until the game says you can see the next five minutes of your Saturday morning cartoon At least I can say Iceborne isnt the worst MH for me now!

30: Final Fantasy XIV: Shadowbringers (5.0-5.55) Kind of shit that reminds me why I love video games This alone is a top three FF, and a STRONG contender for first. Fucking astounding you can experience all of this without paying a single dollar. Suppose that ride ends for me in January lmao~

29: Soul Blazer My Favorite Game I've Never Beaten has been beaten~ Fuckin adore this one. Quintet's SNES outings are always a really nice time, and this being essentially a proto-Dark Cloud rules All time fav, glad to have actually knocked it out~

Me, walking into a KH expecting/hoping the plot isn't entirely shoved into the last 10% of the game:

28: Spillover by David Quammen Whereas the previous books in this thread read more like thrillers, this one felt like a very engaging college textbook. The prose even sounds like a lot of my professors did Highly recommend this one, does a great job explaining to the layperson without dumbing down

27: Rush: Moving Pictures Despite Hemispheres being my favorite song of all time, I haven't actually listened to much Rush beyond that and that was clearly a mistake because this album is EXACTLY as good as its reputation

25: Crisis in the Red Zone by Richard Preston Time has only sharpened his writing and it was a darkly apocalyptic look into the 2013-2016 outbreak. Having released in 2019, there's a section that nearly perfectly describes how COVID would run rampant only a year later. Hard read, S+

24: The Hot Zone by Richard Preston Havent read a 450 page book in one sitting in a while. Preston's writing is, while whimsical isnt a fitting word for the subject matter, poetic and gripping. I was gripping my tablet HARD during parts. Excellent read if virology is anything you're interested in

22: Deltarune: Chapter Five Had time to sit on it What chapter 4 did directly for the story, this does for the characters. It's subtler, but this is one of the strongest outings yet for both aspects, to say nothing of how good the gameplay is this time "that" character is my favorite in the game

21: Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade: INTERmission Genuine 10/10 Yuffie's kit is SO much fun and the love this gives to the compilation is SO nice to see A little on the short side, but every moment was an absolute delight, shoot this RIGHT into my veins

20: Final Fantasy VII Remake I went over my nitpicks earlier, but overall, I had a positive experience with this one. Ending tied things together in a neater way than I'd hoped, something leaving me wanting to jump straight into Rebirth. Very much a one and done, but it was a good enough one~
