Surprise! I’ll be at FAN EXPO Dallas this weekend! This was a VERY last-minute decision, but I’ll be wandering around the con all weekend! If you see me, feel free to say hi! I’m also hoping to catch up with some folks working on creator-owned comics while I’m there for my new job. 👀

Now that the trailer is out, I can confirm that I was a part of the new season of Crowd Control on Dropout. I can tell you right now though that I will most likely not be featured in my episode. 😅 Still, it was a great experience and an awesome excuse for an LA trip.

Following July's episode of the Comic Drake Book Club on JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Phantom Blood, August's episode will be on The Mask by John Arcudi from Dark Horse. Patreon and YouTube channel members are welcome to leave their thoughts to be featured in both episodes.

Now that every single one of my videos have sponsors, I make sure that I'm paying everyone who collaborates on the channel. Anyone that does work for me gets paid in cash, not exposure. HOWEVER, Sir_Superhero insisted that our recent collab was too much fun to be considered "work".

I'm not taking money from AI slop either. They keep sending me highly lucrative offers, but I'm not budging.

To make it clear, cash has been tight lately, but regardless of how good the money is, I DO NOT take gambling sponsorships.

Alright, YouTube did NOT like how the video was packaged, so let's try out a new title and thumbnail. I hate that it's mostly about Sunstone since there's so much more to talk about, but hopefully it gets folks through the door and they stick around for the rest. www.youtube.com/watch?v=l3BV...

Doing something new with the Patreon supporters that I wish I did ages ago. The $20 tier is super generous and both Bonnie and The Brain Teaser have been pledged for a LONG time, so in addition to putting them first, I thought giving them a special color would be nice too.

My upload schedule is going to be a little wonky because I'll be in Mexico, having a second wedding with my wife for her family that was unable to make it up to the States for our little courthouse wedding last year. I should still have a video or two coming out in the coming months!

I've been messing around with the WIP rig and by making the shirt into a green screen, we'll be able to dress him up based on the video's subject, even recreating my old merch designs from years ago.

Folks have expressed interest that they want less of me on screen. Fair enough. It's not done just yet, but I'll be giving this new PNGTube model a whirl by @clownpantsu.bsky.social, based on the amazing work that @detectivex.bsky.social did for our days on Crossover.
