My newest chapbook, a cosmic horror inspired by the works of a classic folk rock artist. Cover and interior art by Renee Majkut. I'll have them for sale at NecronomiCon in 2 weeks.

Recent item that has come to live with me: the Conan the Barbarian Marvel medallion. I remember the house ads in 1970s comics and I always wanted one. It only took a few decades but it's mine, by Crom! 😊

Before and after. This mammoth built-in was a big attraction when Angie and I bought this house. Alas, it is time to make way for something new.

Good productive day at the shop processing a long box of Sonic the Hedgehog comic books. Then, at the end of the day, a guy came to me and asked if I knew about Solomon Kane and if there were any comics about him. You've come to the right place, sir! 😬

It was on this day, March 3, 1997 that I started in comics retail. I figured it to be a fun bridging job while leaving the previous employer and seeking a new gig. Little did I realize what was in store. 29 years and still plugging 😊

"Operation Epic Fury". Give me a fucking break! Where's the epic fury at the despicable, criminal, inhuman acts this administration continues to enact?

I was psyched to be a guest on the Brig, the Retro Ridoctopus podcast. I talk about my newest novella in the Sinister Societies anthology, comics, Conan, and more. Visit the Brig here: retro-ridoctopus.pinecast.co/episode/ea6c...

Shingles shot #1. My arm hurts like fun (please note the sarcasm), but it's better than the alternative.

Going through some boxes in the basement this afternoon and unearthed a gem - my first published work! This was late 1980, early 1981 or so. I thought this was long gone! My story is pretty raw but I like to think my imagination helped the teacher publish it. Heck, my art even graces the cover! 😊
