Currently at the Lakes International Comic Arts Festival. These prices are utterly absurd and are ruining conventions for comic book fans. I get charging for signatures & getting your worth, but when you start charging these prices and demanding first class flights and your meals paid? Madness

alking of Avengers Armageddon, I've just discovered Germán Peralta's Pixar variant for issue 4 and good god. It's perfect.

Couple of good Indiana Jones variants to celebrate his return to Marvel Comics. The Mjolnir one is particularly excellent Thor - Mahmud Asrar Fantastic Four - Marco Checchetto

Read the first two issues of Spider-Versity on Marvel Unlimited. It's a really dumb concept, and in all honesty not very good. With the exception of Jessica, they're all quite poorly written. HOWEVER, the sense of motion in this Pere Pérez splash page is exquisite.

We ride again Wednesday Warriors - it's another New Comic Book Day! Plenty of other titles out this week, including ones I'll also be grabbing and no doubt be kicking myself for not including in this video! What takes your fancy this week - any of these, something else, both? Let me know!

Read Batman 11 on DC Infinite this morning. Dropped it physically because Fraction's storytelling was too slow and bitty for my liking, and I dont want to do the massive crossover next month. But damn, if nothing else Jorge Jimenez can really fucking draw.

Symbiote Sunday! As soon as I saw the pinball machine on Brighton Pier the other day I knew what I had to do! 😂 (the Blokees kit rocks btw). Crazy to think Eddie hasn't properly been the true Venom in mainstream comics since the end of the Cates/Stegman run - and that was about 6 years ago

The Luffy ones are nice, I just don't know I could style that into my wardrobe. Also don't think I could wear the bodywarmer without looking like a wanker, but its nice. White t-shirt is cool. Wouldn't object to that but think I'd prefer the grey

Finished watching My Adventures With Superman season 3 Whilst deeply enjoyable, it's kind of crazy how far removed it is from the core Superman concept. The show doesn't even try to hide it's Dragon Ball Z story/action influence and the Invincible design language. But hey. I still enjoyed it

I am absolutely thrilled by the announcement of a five issue Indiana Jones mini series by Jason Aaron and Aaron Kuder. I really hope we actually get Kuder doing interiors on all five issues, as he has a habit of not being around for long on books

Spent the afternoon/evening building a couple of the Avengers Blokees kits (Champion Class) and....yeah. Believe the hype. Thor is a great stylisation of Hemsworth, and I'm super impressed with the finish and accessories on Iron Man. I love these a lot.

I don't know if you're aware of Operation: Iron Coffin by @kennyporter.bsky.social & @tcannoncomics.bsky.social but if not, get aware! It's a Dracula redemption arc where he fights Nazis. In a time where we've become saturated with vampire fiction, I'm glad this is as cool as it sounds

Here in the UK we basically never get the cool fast food promo toys so I was *really* pleased to discover we got the Dave's Hot Chicken X-Men 97 collab. Love Wolverine stabbing the chicken - not a euphemism) Got Jean Grey. Pretty fun little figure with nice display stand, cool look in the show.

Aaaand this is my London Comic Mart Haul. I didn't exactly go small 😂 but did make some significant finds that tick quite a lot of issues off of runs I'm collecting. Did I mention I quite like comic mart? www.instagram.com/reel/DaN6Agf...

Went to London Comic Mart, this weekend. I prefer ab event like this than one of those 'comic' cons that don't have comics. Vendors with back issues from every publisher you can think of ranging from expensive keys, cheap ones & hidden gems.

Always loved those speed build videos I see online, so tried my hand at my own! I think Lego did a great job with this version of the Jedi Starfighter, the return of the Jedi Bob minifig! Personally quite pleased with how the vid turned out, but open to constructive criticism

I don't know how much of a 'Hot Take' this is, but I wish the comic industry wouldn't pidgeon-hole Skottie Young as 'baby variant guy' and let him do other stuff. I know his career blew up as a result of that niche, but I just find all of these far more interesting pieces

Recently started a scrap book for my nerdy themed exploits. Anyway, I've just pieced together this Star Wars page (not written anything yet) from the left over packaging of a Obi-Wan 'Power Of The Jedi' figure I picked up a few weeks ago. Not written anything yet but super happy with the layout

Reading the current Star Wars series on Marvel Unlimited. It's not great, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't get a kick out of seeing Luke and Han fighting Battle Droids and wearing Clone Trooper armour. And Phil Noto's Super Battle Droid? Fuck yeah.

Seven Miles A Second is a bleak but stunning biography of David Wojnarowicz's life. James Romberger's artwork is insane. Coupled with colours by Marguerite Van Cook, there's just no comic art like it. An incredible surrealist vision to tye words of righteous fury of Wojnarowicz
