I should've made a special tag for my blood elf lore tedtalk damn.. It starts now.

Probably going to post my blood elf lore tedtalk over here, because I really want to share some cool stuff that I've written about. Like even the smallest stuff in Quel'thalas can cause me to turn it into some big ol'lore ramble lol

warm up!! had to do both.... Alive Ori and current Ori (she/they) 🫣 [Reference photo is Rin Fujisaki from MAGURO-044] #art #warcraft #warcraftart #ocsky #spacelingart

World of Warcraft fanart sketch of an elf, referencing a photo of a woman adjusting a dress she is wearing. The first sketch is of the elf, Ori, when she was alive with a muscular, masculine physique. The second sketch is of Ori currently, undead and transgender; she is still muscular, but she has big, beautiful breasts and her form is a little softer overall. Since the dress is slightly sheer, the large scars over her abdomen are partially visible.

Overlaying the image is text that reads "SPACELING.ART," indicating the artist's name, along with links to their Patreon and Ko-fi pages. There is also a note stating "NOT FOR RESALE, NFTs, OR AI," emphasising the artist's rights regarding the artwork.

Good news, Halduron had successfully tamed it! despite being left with a few burn and bite marks. Being ranger general he's use to this #worldofwarcraft #warcraftart #bloodelf #rommath #lorthemar #ladyliadrin

Halduron's sitting down unfazed by a wild dragonhawk hovering above while it's trying to eat him. Lor'themar and Lady Liadrin, and Rommath are watching from a safe distance. With a mix of concern and annoyance.

Dragonhawks are well known to be the deadliest apex predators in Quel'thalas. So for any Farstrider who's willing to test their taming skills beyond just a Lynx.. One has to prepare themselves and avoid being turn to ashes, or get their skull snapped in half with it's powerful beak.

Becoming it's next snack on the list.

I can't believe we're going back to this kind of discourse but: Using references isn't cheating Using 3D mannequins and photo references is STANDARD, even for professional artists Shaming people and pushing them to draw exclusively from memory is harmful and can set back people who are learning

I have no idea how to draw backgrounds.. but at least I have WoW's in game environment to use, where I do abit of camera angles and what not to make the characters fit in the background.

Thinking.. about posting my lore tedtalk from tumblr on here, but! keep it disable for only followers to comment since.. I do not want folks to use it as some debate discourse when it's not?? it's merely for fun, but I also have my own opinions on certain things.

Replaying through Pandaria. And like always, MoP just understood the assignment. Really wish we saw this more from Lor'themar in the current day of seeing something dark & utilizing it for his people. Imagine if the Blood Elves wanted to yoink the Dark Heart & weaponize it against Xal.
