Oh my gosh, yes! I get emotional every time I watch. Absolutely incredible voice and performance.

Honestly, where is time going? It’s already March. The weeks and months are flying by. And yet each day feels like it’s crawling hour by hour. 🤷🏼‍♀️ Okay, that’s the end of my random thought. Have a good day!

I missed a very important day on the 7th! I am officially 3 years (and two weeks) sober!! 🥳

I started reading this one today and am thoroughly enjoying it already at two chapters in. Anyone reading this one? 📕 #books #currentlyreading

I’ve almost finished my first shelf of my cross stitch project. Also decided to change the back stitching from double to single thread. I am loving this project! 🪡

I’ve got some of these on my TBR but haven’t put them on hold yet - Water Moon, Listen To Your Sister and June. They all sound so good!

Wondering what yarn I’ve been dyeing lately? Here are a few colourways I’ve been working on in the past week. The first one is a new one I’ve named Delicate Flower. The second is Cherry Blossom. And the last one is a sock set exclusive to 2025 called Be Bold, Be Brave, Be You. 🧶 #yarn #yarndyer

I’m excited to read this one with some book club friends in March. It sounds so good!

Feeling very lucky to have been gifted an ARC of Codebreaker by Jay Martel. It’s a very good book! It’s a fun, adventurous YA book full of mystery. Hoping to finish reading this week.

I won’t post yarn updates daily but if anyone here is wondering what’s been happening in my world of self striping yarn, these are some of the colourways that are available and ready to ship. These ones are all festive but there is much more to be found on the website. 🧶

Oh definitely! I can’t imagine my cross stitch leaving my living room. I need impeccable lighting for that one. Still love knitting - it will always have my heart!

Not going to lie. Cross stitch is something I could see myself doing more than knitting. 🫣 Okay, maybe not… but it’s so relaxing!

What are you currently reading? I’ve got four books on the go. Trace Of Evil by Alice Blanchard (book club read), Codebreaker by Jay Martel (I’ve got an ARC and it comes out in July), Pineapple Street by Jenny Jackson (current audiobook while I work) and Shatter Me by Tahereh Mafi (ebook).

My morning view. Actually, every weekday morning view as I get ready to dye more self striping yarn. 🧶

An image of a warping board with the beginnings of a batch of self striping yarn being prepped. Paper behind to record the weight on the scale and scissors to cut the yarn as needed.

Spending the evening helping kiddo with his schoolwork, and knitting socks with three beverages by my side. Water, flavoured water and tea. Apparently I can’t make up my mind.
