Hey there! Yeah, it is. Although I took a bit of a hiatus from the progress. Things have gotten real busy on my end irl. But it’s not canceled! In the meantime, there is a version that has been available here: gamebanana.com/mods/636703

So, lemme get this straight. Discord wants to distract us from the impeding trial run of age verification on their platform, and the way they do that is... making putting a living room skin on VCs. Suuuure... that's totally going to work. www.dexerto.com/entertainmen...

Feels like people just love to make up stuff no matter what. I’ve been an active Fluxer user since February. It’s only been good improvements since then and has felt very safe. The infrastructure has improved and the mobile app is now out in beta. Plus self-hosting is a thing now as well.

Comfy_Deer🌲 @comfy-deer.bsky.social · 17/06/2026

Me? Nah, but I do help out with reviewing bugs. 🦌 Technically, you can also self-host it and really make it your own, so I guess that deer alternative is possible!

Final hours to enjoy Fluxer as a PWA. Can’t wait to try out the native mobile beta app! Very soon™️ Made some new C-Deer art to use as a custom emoji / stickers in the app too. 🦌 may post the full versions here later. #furry #anthro #art #stickers #foss

We are open-sourcing (AGPLv3) and going live with our mobile app beta on June 15th. This beta is locked to Android users and Plutonium iOS users. We plan a full rollout in 1 month to Google Play, Apple App Store, F-Droid, and Obtanium after we knock out a few more bugs and features.

Fluxer is pretty! No annoying ads or other distractions. Some hiccups, but it’s gotten way smoother now. Just a good new reliable chat platform, like in 2015-2017! 👌 Hopefully more homebrew or modding communities consider it in the future! #AnimalCrossing #acnhmods #acnhmodding #moddingcommunity

Woo, nice job! If I had more time, it would be fun to learn how to backport some mods into New Leaf. Especially with how different the character models are being more simplified.

Ye, that’s what the Fluxer site suggests for Android phones (I just preferred to use a base Chromium apk myself for my tablet) You can find instructions in the download section scrolling down.

100

Comfy_Deer🌲 @comfy-deer.bsky.social · 20/04/2026

Fluxer does offer an option to use it as a Progressive Web App, adding to the home menu with browsers like Safari or Chromium (or straight up in-browser) Makes for a pretty decent mobile app stand-in tbh. As far as I’m aware, v2 has to release first, before the mobile app. And there’s no ETA.

a warm conversation (and wawa) 🌨️ [comm for @skreech.bsky.social]

An anthropomorphic deer OC named Taylor (OC belonging to @skreech.bsky.social) stands outside on a porch against the railing. Snow falls gently as the light from the warm cottage illuminates Taylor, and the moon shines on them from behind. A speech bubble indicates that Taylor LOVES Wawa chocolate milk. The background is a heavy fir forest with snow dusted on it. #furry #furryart #anthro
