Comfort Doll Project

CDP was established May 1, 2006 as a way to give back. Bands donate used strings-we make bracelets-fans buy them. 100% of proceeds go to charity for those in need. We also send knitted dolls to kids in Africa

People asking what our guitar string bracelets for charity look like?! Here’s a few examples of what we’ve made in past! 100% proceeds go to World Vision, Salvation Army or food banks. @coffeeshopsage.bsky.social :)

And… we also knit comfort dolls which a couple of charities use instead of packing foam when they travel to Africa with meds & equipment. The dolls are given to the kids once everything is unpacked, many of whom are orphans. We also have a few faithful ladies knitting dolls too

We also have bands /musicians donate guitar/bass strings, make keepsake bracelets from them and sell back to fans. 109% proceeds go to charities like World Vision, Salvation Army, Union Gospel mission etc.

What do we do? Take photos of bands/musicians and auction to their fans, then send 100% proceeds to charities (World Vision, Food banks, disaster relief) one of our 1st photos was Alexander Siddig (Star Trek deep space 9, Game of Thrones, Gotham, Fallen)

"The reality is this: Ukraine is fighting for us. It’s not just fighting for itself. The reason so many countries are involved in Ukraine’s defense is because the aggression being committed by Russia is not only an aggression against Ukraine and its people," - Antony Blinken said in Italy
