mega man x5 (psx) -- i usually don't mind when a game is gimmicky but this one was a mess, it didn't help that the levels were ass and the bosses too. at least the story for the last quarter was good, especially zero's ending.

mega man legends 2 -- a step up from the already good first game, just about everything is improved upon in this one. i love all the characters so much i want to see more of them 😭😦 i'm usually a dub hater but the one for this game and the prequel are honestly not bad. roll caskett is an angel.

mega man x3 (sfc) -- i played both X2 and X3 in one sitting so they're kinda melting together in my head but this one had some of the most elusive upgrades i've ever seen, i had to look up a bunch of stuff, which i usually don't do, and i would never have been able to find some of them on my own.

mega man x2 (sfc) -- zero is so badass i wanna play the zero games so bad.. this game is okay, i had to restart my playthrough because i got locked out of saving zero so that hampered my enjoyment but it's pretty good. the epilogues they have for this one and X are so kino. waiter more zero please!

mega man x (snes) -- i didn't really enjoy my time with it on my first play a few years ago but this time around i had a lot of fun, i'm glad i played the classic games so i could see how they got to this point, release order ftw. dashing around all over the place and blasting shit is epic.

mega man & bass (sfc) -- rly hard but learning the levels and then rushing through them was so fun & rewarding. everything from the level design to the enemy placements felt so tight, this is the one with the best platforming so far. good mix of things i liked from 7&8 with an insane finale. X time!

mega man 8 (psx) -- awesome. the anime cutscenes are epic (played undub) and the story is nice. i like that they make you use weapons for stage hazards instead of only using them to kill one boss. the lab is also good, that Roll sprite inside the menu is so cute. electrical communication on repeat!!

mega man 7 (snes) -- it's alright. seeing the entire cast in 16-bit made me happy. the final level was awful it made me titled af idk what the hell they were thinking. it's kinda amazing they did all this in only a few months of dev time though, so respect for that. 👍

mega man 6 (nes) -- didn't feel like the last title on the system but that's okay. the rush forms were cool i wish they did a bit more with them. i ended up clearing this one without getting a game over bc i got lucky with drops and i'm pro. 😎 or it was just too easy.. great run on the nes!

mega man 5 (nes) -- i really liked 4 and thought it couldn't get better but damn everything in this one just clicks. fun level/enemy gimmicks and weapons, best bosses so far, and the difficulty balance feels just right. loooove proto man and beat. this is the one!! 🏆

final fantasy iv (sfc) -- the story was great for its time and it being more prevalent is a welcome change but i do think it could have done with a more relaxed pace. (this is my dq brain speaking) loved the character interactions and how everyone does a little spin when they talk, cute. :)

tales of phantasia (psx) -- the combat is rough and i ended up spamming spells with pink girl for 80% of the game but apart from that it's epic. the cast is so good and fun it felt like they were my friends fr, loved the skits. arche is the goat and one of the biggest gaming creatures.
