Canadian #AEW fans: Check your listings for Grand Slam France on Tuesday. The early/"live" showing is on a different channel than usual for me (TSN3 instead of TSN2).

Sunday dinner at Mom's and she was watching something on NatGeo, and all of a sudden there's Persephone in Arena Mexico. And my mom recognized her! Well, as much as a senior who vaguely knows about wrestling would. "Hey! That's the one with the veil thing, right?"

The FIGHT OWENS FIGHT sign with the panda is fab. (But bittersweet, because I wish I had the KO panda shirt!)

Will possibly only make sense to Canadians: I was wondering why the colour scheme of Seth's gear looked familiar and then I thought "Hey, that looks like Chapman's Rainbow sorbet."

Kevin AND Chelsea in the same day? Go Canada! #SummerSlam

Well done, whoever had the "Aldis and a bag of chips" sign! #SummerSlam

I hate it when I start writing a story, have to let it sit for a bit for whatever reason, and then genuinely do not remember a thing about it by the time I get back to it.

Thinking good, hopeful thoughts for everyone in the zone of the Alberta storms tonight. Hope it's not as bad as predicted and that we all pull though <3

Undertaker clue on Jeopardy! today. (It took my mother so by surprise that she blurted out "Who is the coffin man?")

combatfaerie @combatfaerie.bsky.social · 17/07/2026

We've had some water damage, so we have a few drying fans going 24/7. It's really made me realize how important the commentary is to wrestling. Sure, you can watch and you see all the moves, but the commentary (if done well) adds so much to a match.

Albertans: Who else is having trouble with the energy rebate application? I keep getting an error at the interac stage #AB #Alberta

So Canadians went from no #AEWCollision on USA last week due to the race running long to missing three minutes this week... and then having the whole episode replayed? Okay.

000

combatfaerie @combatfaerie.bsky.social · 25/06/2026

Canadian #AEW fans: Tonight's #AEWDynamite may be on a different TSN than usual. (EG: I usually get it on TSN2, but tonight it's on TSN5.)

023

combatfaerie @combatfaerie.bsky.social · 22/06/2026

Canadian #AEW fans: If you didn't get to watch #AEWCollision yesterday on USA because of the racing, it's now available on USA on demand and will probably be up until Friday or Saturday.

000

combatfaerie @combatfaerie.bsky.social · 09/06/2026

Kevin Owens must have the best collection of wrestling t-shirts.

000

combatfaerie @combatfaerie.bsky.social · 16/04/2026

Canadian #AEW fans with Rogers/Shaw: Did you have problems recording #AEWDynamite last night? I have it set as a series and now I'm getting "recording conflict" warnings for future episodes.

000

combatfaerie @combatfaerie.bsky.social · 12/04/2026

Well, I'm glad TSN2 is also showing Collision, because apparently my DVR failed to record the earlier/USA airing. So I watched the second hour first and I'll have to watch the first hour tomorrow.

000

combatfaerie @combatfaerie.bsky.social · 09/04/2026

Enjoy #AEWDynamite tonight, Edmonton fans! I'll get to a show one of these years...

120

combatfaerie @combatfaerie.bsky.social · 04/04/2026

Canadian #AEW fans: It looks like TSN2 may be airing Collision on April 11, so check your listings!

012

combatfaerie @combatfaerie.bsky.social · 03/04/2026

Very glad to see Hikaru Shida back! I think she could have some really fun matches with some of the women who have joined #AEW while she's been away.

Huh. Not what I imagined Tony D'Angelo's hair would look like out of the ponytail, but okay. #NXTVengeanceDay

Collision started 10-12 minutes late for me, during Takeshita vs. Moxley. Did I miss anything else? #AEWCollision

Mystery Wrestling in Edmonton? Yay! I've heard good things. Mystery Wrestling with MJF? ... I'll pass this time, thanks.

combatfaerie @combatfaerie.bsky.social · 25/01/2026

Roxanne Perez's toddler flail move just looks... so bad. I mean, I know there are a lot of wrestling moves that require suspension of disbelief, but the flail is just sad.

010

combatfaerie @combatfaerie.bsky.social · 16/01/2026

I apparently picked the wrong week to be away and need to catch up on wrestling news, huh?

000

Watching ROH Classics and seeing Claudio holding a Starbucks cup feels so wrong.

000

combatfaerie @combatfaerie.bsky.social · 30/12/2025

Finished setting up my 2026 writing journal with two days to spare. I'm not used to writing by hand, so it took a while.

Canadian wrestling fans: If there's a hardcover wrestling book you're looking for, Indigo has 30% off hardcovers until January 1! (Edit: In-store purchases only!)

Canadian #AEW fans: How long do the events tend to be if it's a Dynamite/Collision taping?

120

combatfaerie @combatfaerie.bsky.social · 15/12/2025

Congrats on the AEW PPV, Vancouver! <3 (Maybe that means a stop in Edmonton/Calgary en route, since they skipped us in 2025?)

120

combatfaerie @combatfaerie.bsky.social · 13/12/2025

Canadian #AEW fans who watch on our USA Network: Did #AEWCollision start about 20-30 minutes late?

100

combatfaerie @combatfaerie.bsky.social · 16/11/2025

Can we get a Taya Valkyrie x Xavier Woods hat photo shoot?

000

combatfaerie @combatfaerie.bsky.social · 09/11/2025

I know the SN+ versions of the TNA PPVs are edited down (which is fair), but Emergence was mid-match, had a commercial, and then went to a completely different match. Boo!

000

combatfaerie @combatfaerie.bsky.social · 08/11/2025

I know TNA's "Open Fight Night" was really "matches we hadn't aired yet", but I think that would be a cool way to do a retirement PLE/PPV. EG: AJ Styles. Let him pick his final match, sure, but let him book the rest of the show. No storylines, just matches he wants to see.

010

combatfaerie @combatfaerie.bsky.social · 26/10/2025

Ricky Saints dressing as Xerxes(300) for Halloween? I'm good with that.

000

combatfaerie @combatfaerie.bsky.social · 25/10/2025

Victory! USA Network (in Canada) is finally showing #AEWCollision on the grid!

140

combatfaerie @combatfaerie.bsky.social · 23/10/2025

Canadian #AEW fans: Can anyone find #AEWCollision in their listings if they get USA? I've tried searching with AEW and All-Elite Wrestling and nothing's coming up.

combatfaerie @combatfaerie.bsky.social · 18/10/2025

Does Cody do special training in dress shoes or something? Or do those shoes have special grips? Either way, I'm impressed. I can barely navigate stairs in dress shoes.

000

combatfaerie @combatfaerie.bsky.social · 16/10/2025

Canadian #AEW fans: If you get the USA Network, it might be airing the Tailgate Brawl on Saturday. On my DVR, it shows up as an hour of Collision, but I think that's how it was listed for the All Out one as well.

120

combatfaerie @combatfaerie.bsky.social · 16/10/2025

In the multi-directional tribalism of wrestling social media, it can be easy to forget that yes, there are many fans who watch multiple companies. So I love seeing a shirt for Company A at Company B's show, or for Wrestler C at a promotion where she hasn't wrestled for 10 years.

000

combatfaerie @combatfaerie.bsky.social · 14/10/2025

Because I apparently didn't spend enough time during the week watching wrestling, I realized that the SN+ app/site has some of the TNA PPVs available. Time to make another watch list!

100

combatfaerie @combatfaerie.bsky.social · 08/10/2025

I know it won't happen, but I think a neat way to show the TNA-NXT connection as a partnership would have been to have Je'Von Evans and Leon Slater become a tag team and win one set of titles and defend them across both shows.

000

combatfaerie @combatfaerie.bsky.social · 03/10/2025

Anyone know when #AEWCollision is airing in Canada next week? The listings I can find for our USA Network aren't showing it on Wednesday or Saturday.

Canadian #AEW fans: Reminder that TSN is airing #AEWTailgateBrawl (as is the Canadian version of USA Network)!

combatfaerie @combatfaerie.bsky.social · 19/09/2025

#AEW fans in Canada: It looks like TSN is showing the All-In pre-show, or at least an hour of it. (So is USA Network 'In Canada', if you get it.)

000

combatfaerie @combatfaerie.bsky.social · 14/09/2025

For #AEW this week, is it two hours of Dynamite on Wednesday, followed by an hour of Collision? My grid looks weird so I don't trust it.

I didn't expect to see Britt Baker and Adam Cole on an episode of an Anthony Bourdain show, so... surprise!
