At Speke airport flying off to surprise my daughter in Spain for her 40th birthday. Just need to hide when we arrive in her little town until we gate crash her celebration later. Hubby’s taken the fire stick so I can watch the match (unless I nod off as I’ve not slept all night!)

This weekend we’re in Verona for my belated birthday present from the hubs. It’s a beautiful city, very hot. Been drinking lots of spritz for €5-6. Today we’re in Bologna as it’s fairly close & another Italian city done. It has the biggest outdoor cinema I’ve ever seen

It’s so long, farewell to Salzburg and now traveling to Vienna until Friday. 1st class train ride for £32 each including reserved seat and fees (over 58 years) for a 2 and half hour journey, very comfortable! Looking forward to seeing all the scenery
