Every Bama fan asking why we didn’t hire Cig is being willfully ignorant of how they would react to us hiring the newly hired coach of Indiana out of JMU instead of a coach who was in that years CFP final. Just not a realistic thought to have.

I’m pretty sure he had already been hired by Indiana at that point due to when Saban retired. Also, imagine you’re pitching the Alabama fanbase on hiring a guy from JMU/Indiana to replace nick Saban instead of the coach that was in the 2023 seasons national championship game

I think everyone owes Alabama an apology

I appreciate watching us play against a team you hate more, because it lessens my emotional anxiety on here

I don’t know how we don’t start Russell or Mack at this point.

He’s demonstrating why we kept starting Milroe last year

Definitely butch jones, he and Travis are tight

Yes but I believe Blackrock’s HQ is in Hudson Yards so the two screenshots are just completely unrelated in the way that the original poster intended.

One screenshot says blackstone and one says blackrock, which are two different financial institutions.

Yeah it certainly feels bleak

010

Colter Longshore @colterlevi.com · 31/03/2025

Hard agree, but now you’re adding more examples of bigger “scumbags” than Oates. I recognize as a Bama fan I’m probably not seeing from same angle, but the only disappointing thing in my eyes is the communication around the Brandon Miller situation. I still think ultimately UA did the right thing.

Colter Longshore @colterlevi.com · 30/03/2025

Obviously biased but hard disagree lol

We keep getting so close tho!

If you think Duke is more likeable than Nate Oates you’re an enemy of the republic

Johni Broome looks enough like Drake that I don’t think I’d let the arena play “Not Like Us” if I were him.

Do SEC tournament tennis matches also have “It Just Means More” painted everywhere?

I would probably tell that hypothetical person that i love them but nobody in my family was abducted by ICE and taken to Guantanamo, so my forgiveness is worthless to them and they should probably do the harder thing which is try to help and ask forgiveness of those they harmed.

000

Colter Longshore @colterlevi.com · 18/02/2025

nor does it lessen the costs of forgiveness and to whom is owed apology. I someone regrets their vote for Trump and they ask me for forgiveness, I don't have much to give them back. Not that I wouldn't want to, but I am relatively unaffected by it, so i can neither absolve them nor condemn them

100

Colter Longshore @colterlevi.com · 18/02/2025

In Christianity the idea is that you should forgive others is fueled by a recognition of being forgiven and a knowledge that you have the same capacity for evil as others. As we have seen oppressed turn to oppressors, etc. but it doesn't remove the actual damage done

I think both talking points here might be a misapplication of the implications of the prodigal son story. The father is absorbing all of the costs out of love and the son is actually contrite. ie we are all either the older brother, who resents the younger, or the younger brother not the father.

“But Paul don’t I HAVE to prioritize my family.” - some dude “Good point, if you can avoid having a family don’t have one so you’ll be freer to love everyone, if not love your family AND everyone (which will be harder) next question.” - Paul

Man this app is not ready for CFB, do you think I was being serious, my guy?

Hypothetical Alabama is elite tho

040

Colter Longshore @colterlevi.com · 22/12/2024

I’m more mad that we lost to Tennessee than Vandy or Oklahoma and fully believe we should have been in over Tennessee even with the head to head and record. I stand on business.

100

Colter Longshore @colterlevi.com · 22/12/2024

If you think Alabama fans aren’t loving this, you don’t know ball.

000

Colter Longshore @colterlevi.com · 22/12/2024

Oh so now that Clemson does it, it’s ok to be in the playoff with 3 SEC losses.

110

Colter Longshore @colterlevi.com · 21/12/2024

Or this game… maybe spoke to soon lol

000

Colter Longshore @colterlevi.com · 21/12/2024

We also had a ton of bangers in the first round of the 4 team tho. You need to have a few of them be instant classics, and it doesn’t look like this one will have any of those, maybe tonight will or next round, hopefully. Even as a Bama fan I recognize the 2014 playoff was incredible entertainment.

100

Colter Longshore @colterlevi.com · 21/12/2024

I feel like we are all forgetting the fact that the 12 team playoff was originated with the idea that the pac-12 would exist.
