Omg same, I saw this LL Bean one at an antique show just recently and had to grab it to of course, autumnmax.

Okay I also want to throw in my 2 cents on the new Golden Axe show. Just saw the cast, Matthew Rhys, Lisa Gilroy, Danny Pudi & more, love it. Co creator Mike McMahan who led Lower Decks, a show who's trailer worried me but I loved all 5 seasons of? I'll wait to watch to fully judge this one.

The other night, while planning a shelving project for my physical media I thought I'd catalog what I have. And in trying to keep things in simple genres with what I have and am collecting, I did end up categorizing It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown as Kids, Horror.

Without saying your age, what's your favorite movie that came out when you were 18? We all thought the horse was coming right at us and jumped out of the way.

Something I learned about that tool is that the zoom percentage of the camera effects what it considers small. Like if you make a circle and erase a little bit of it. It won't fill in with small gap of 2, but zoom out to 16% and it does immediately.

Took apart and cleaned my friend’s GameCube controllers he gave me. So now I have 10 lol which is maybe unnecessary but I just love the cube. And now I’ve got an indigo/clear one! Which I’ll probably play Beyond Good & Evil with, which I couldn’t believe he had in his collection!

Doing some spring cleaning on the hard drive and saw the Via magic shots. Because they'd come to comp as black with a white outline, I thought it'd be cool to make those elements mirror what I did with Paimon's magic, distorting what you see through it and almost an inversion feeling of darkness.

Screencap from Helluva Boss where Via bursts out some black white and pink colored spiky magic, protecting people from a large 3 headed ice dragon.

Working on my comic has proven difficult while I have the most precious baby boy in the house, but I'm fitting in drafting the layouts now, from one hand written texts on a google doc that I typed out while rocking the dude asleep. Just gotta find the moments to make it happen : D

Ay I got my font together (might update later) and now I can go full page layout rough drafting. So here's the drawn progress so far, and the first page with my rough draft of text. #goblin #comic #art

A comic page with 3 rows of images. The first are goblins wolf riders heading out to battle with a commander rallying them. The second row introduces Kayko, the main goblin character of the story. She has a black mohawk of hair, but do you call it a mohawk if it's in a fantasy setting. The origin of that comes from the indigenous Mohawk people, right? Anywho, she's putting on her helmet, and gripping her weapon, a mace. In the third row, Kayko looks out at the passing wolves, and finally hops onto one like Legolas did with those horses in the two towers movie, but less elaborate.

A blue and orange rough draft of a comic layout. There are goblins riding wolves in the distance, a goblin jumping to and fro passing wolves, and then finally reaching her destination and being helped out by an armored rider.

I'm making my own font for my comic and I think I'm getting close! Just a few letters to make more legible at small sizes for my natural hand writing.

What my child was charged to be born. No that totaled up to like, $26K? Would have been wrecked without insurance. Thank you again, job 🙏 And I'm sorry world that we had to bail out my son and he couldn't even pay for himself to be born. This generation is just so lazy.

Draw what you're wearing, 5 minutes max. Is everyone doing 5 minutes? I feel like some of these are really nice, you know like... 10 minutes? The person below is a believable very talented 5 but I know you've scrolled and gone, "please let it be you loved it and wanted to render it all nice."

An incredible hall from a place with walls of old media, all $1, gotta love it. Also, “one of the year’s 10 best,” feels like such a backhanded compliment. Oh it’s good but uh… I don’t know if it’d win an award
