When people in London ask me where I’m from in the US, I say that I’ve lived all over, but consider LA my American home, so this tracks. Grew up in the Midwest and lived in NYC for 5 yrs total, but none of it stayed with me, I guess. Least like New Orleans - love it, but only lived there for 1 year
