I've been seeing a lot of pixel artists struggle with Bluesky's image compression, so I'd thought I'd share how to get clear, crisp pixels on the site! Share to help a fellow pixel-artist! #pixelart #tutorial

When uploading to Bluesky, remember to resize your works to 800%!

Why? Images are converted to .jpeg when uploaded. .jpeg compresses the image into 8x8 pixel blocks.

If a block has more than one colour, that dreaded compression occurs!

I do kind of like the color pop the wall creates but it does seem a bit too busy. Maybe there's other ways to introduce that volor contrast with the one on the right? And I like the way the light around the character is in front of the platforms on the right Cool logo overall tho.
