I've been hit twice with a car. Both occasions I had bright lights back and front, was wearing high viz. Both drivers said, sorry didn't see you. Both incidents b4 the era of mass distraction, smart phones and big touch screens in cars. OP saw unlit cyclists cos she was looking, too many aren't
