Collin Sean Cougar Mellon Jordan Dorow Solberg @collinsolberg.bsky.social · 08/10/2026 This is directed at the j-league and not you, but that’s a time based chart not a heat based chart. It’s imply causation without using any sort of heat metric. 110

Collin Sean Cougar Mellon Jordan Dorow Solberg @collinsolberg.bsky.social · 12/09/2026Remember that time they pulled Ibson from a game because he was like 13 minutes from guaranteeing his contract the next year? 010
Collin Sean Cougar Mellon Jordan Dorow Solberg @collinsolberg.bsky.social · 10/09/2026On the plus side, we don’t have to worry about spending money on playoff tickets for #mnufc 030
Collin Sean Cougar Mellon Jordan Dorow Solberg @collinsolberg.bsky.social · 06/09/2026I don’t think Wil Trapp has a creative bone in his body. He’s very good in a structured system but can not play in any sort of transition or unplanned system. 010

Collin Sean Cougar Mellon Jordan Dorow Solberg @collinsolberg.bsky.social · 27/08/2026Evie also gave you optionality upon leaving. With a bike I have to bike home. With an Evie I could leave by Evie, take an uber, bus to a park and ride and then take an uber, bus to a park and ride and then take a scooter, etc. We are also biking on Friday like we did 2 years ago. 010
Collin Sean Cougar Mellon Jordan Dorow Solberg @collinsolberg.bsky.social · 27/08/2026Which was fine until Sam’s bike broke the night before the fair last year 200

Collin Sean Cougar Mellon Jordan Dorow Solberg @collinsolberg.bsky.social · 27/08/2026I’m bummed about the state fair parking change this year 100
Collin Sean Cougar Mellon Jordan Dorow Solberg @collinsolberg.bsky.social · 26/08/2026"unplayable" is the same. In the UK it means a player is so good and can't be stopped, in the US it means they are terrible and shouldnt be on the field. 030
Collin Sean Cougar Mellon Jordan Dorow Solberg @collinsolberg.bsky.social · 26/08/2026One of the underrated British English vs US English differences is the usage of "just about". In the UK it means you reached the bar/got over the line. In the US it means you came up short. Or to say in the UK it means "barely" and in the US "nearly". Which completely changes the meaning. 130
Collin Sean Cougar Mellon Jordan Dorow Solberg @collinsolberg.bsky.social · 25/08/2026Here's my SPL story: I went to a Rangers' UCL qualifying game vs Dinamo Kiev. Talking to fans prior to the game, once they found out we were American, they kept saying stuff along the lines of "now you get to see some good footy" and "this is what quality looks like". Friends, it was not. 020
Collin Sean Cougar Mellon Jordan Dorow Solberg @collinsolberg.bsky.social · 25/08/2026I don’t get why people are down on Owen Gene for MNUFC. I think he’s shown significant progress and has been our best non—Pereyra midfielder this year. When you sign a developmental project, it seems like his trajectory is what you would expect. 3120
Collin Sean Cougar Mellon Jordan Dorow Solberg @collinsolberg.bsky.social · 24/08/2026In MLS, anyone with that type of money could start their own team via expansion the last 15 years (atlanta, LAFC, Cincinnati, Miami, heck even Precourt with Austin). Chicago and now SKC might be showing what happens when expansion is closed off. And that may be a very good thing. 020

Collin Sean Cougar Mellon Jordan Dorow Solberg @collinsolberg.bsky.social · 23/08/2026Liverpool fans trying to play the tortured fan card can kick rocks 210
Collin Sean Cougar Mellon Jordan Dorow Solberg @collinsolberg.bsky.social · 23/08/2026Trapp recovered the ball on the Pereyra goal, which was good! Gene was involved with both of the Yeboah goals. Caldeira moves off the ball so well and drags defenders to open space. Really under rated importance. 020
Collin Sean Cougar Mellon Jordan Dorow Solberg @collinsolberg.bsky.social · 23/08/2026Rabona alert! 020
Collin Sean Cougar Mellon Jordan Dorow Solberg @collinsolberg.bsky.social · 22/08/2026Seems like he’s a non-dp yeboah replacement 110
Collin Sean Cougar Mellon Jordan Dorow Solberg @collinsolberg.bsky.social · 21/08/2026So SKC in 2013? 100
Collin Sean Cougar Mellon Jordan Dorow Solberg @collinsolberg.bsky.social · 21/08/2026Totally get that money isn’t a guarantee, but what was the last “money ball” MLS champion? It seems like spending IS a requirement to win the league. 110
Collin Sean Cougar Mellon Jordan Dorow Solberg @collinsolberg.bsky.social · 20/08/20263 of those 4 teams have won a title in the last decade. And the other sold a player for $22m and has a thriving youth pipeline. I would love those problems. 121
Collin Sean Cougar Mellon Jordan Dorow Solberg @collinsolberg.bsky.social · 20/08/2026In MLS play, the loons have scored 22 goals in 1800 minutes (just using 90 min game). Trapp has been on the field for 11 goals in 1212 minutes played, and Gene has been on the field for 16 goals in 1134 minutes played. The team has not scored 2 goals when they each played more than a half together. 111
Collin Sean Cougar Mellon Jordan Dorow Solberg @collinsolberg.bsky.social · 20/08/2026MNUFC have to stop playing Trapp and Gene together. There is not enough offensive output from them, Trapp specifically. 330
Collin Sean Cougar Mellon Jordan Dorow Solberg @collinsolberg.bsky.social · 20/08/2026There is no reason to invest your time or money in MNUFC currently. Go watch the Lynx instead. 020

Collin Sean Cougar Mellon Jordan Dorow Solberg @collinsolberg.bsky.social · 20/08/2026The problem is @mnufc won’t score with Trapp on the field 000
