Oyster farmers coming back after a long day of work.

A beach in Normandy taken from a dune. The sky is a noisy gray layering of clouds, we barely see tiny slivers of the sky near the horizon. The English Channel is at low tide, leaving massive area of the beach sand exposed. A spaced-out trail of old tractors make their way screen-right, they carry with them small trailers, on them are oyster cages and one or two oyster farmers. In between some tractors, random wanderers follow. In the distance, still on the beaches, rows upon rows of oyster cages can be found. The lower forth of the image is taken by a few rows of tall standing wooden pillars, there to help with erosion. A lighthouse stands far away, near the right edge of the picture.

Recent Shots from early April.

On a Foosball table, multiple inflatable animals with "realistic" textures are placed haphazardly. A husky, a bunny, and a bald eagle. The bunny has large eyebrows crudely drawn using a permanent black marker. The image was taken with a flash, and as such it gives the image a very bright, almost overexposed look.

A picture of a movable makeup mirror placed on the wall. The reflection includes my face, hidden by both a small camera and my hands. Only my nose and mouth are visible. The bathroom mirror creates a frame within a frame, the first being the frame of the image itself, and the second from the rectangle-shaped mirror. The image has a cold vibe to it, which adds to the bathroom setting of the picture.

This is a simple picture of the corner of a hotel pool at night, taken with a flash. The picture has three distinct layers, the pool corner and its metal ladder, the pool chairs set up against the fence, and finally the background, which is taken almost exclusively by the hotel building itself with the exception of a barren tree.

A simple geometric composition of a European building taken in Nantes, and the sky, all from street level. We only see the top left corner of the building, which protrudes in the frame from the right side, taking over half of the space. The rest of the frame is taken entirely by a very blue sky, with wispy and vague cloud formations.

Zoomed-in shot of the Tour de Bretagne in Nantes, France. The composition features buildings surrounding the main landmark which creates an implicit frame that blends well with the white overcast sky. On the bottom half of the image are cars, pedestrians, and a single cyclist riding towards the photographer.

An orange cat extends a paw to the lens, soft lighting from behind, and shallow depth of focus gives the image a close and cozy feel.

A cat sleeping inside a little suspended bed attached to a cat tree. The cat is coiled up, eyes close but ears still up. The desaturated colors and soft lighting give a cozy feeling to this image.

Amongst the rubble of a town house stands a half-demolished flight of stairs. It starts and ends on nothing. The drab lighting accompanied by the contrasty dark wooden color of the stairs makes the feature pop out against a background of grays and beiges.
