early rendering of just cat ears and the two elytra designs i made.

a screenshot from blockbench showing my player model in a fake cherry grove biome standing on a grass hill wearing my first attempt at cat ears before deciding to make them headphones. the ears are black, slightly angled out too far, and have white and gray interiors. my player is wearing a gray wool beanie/toque, a green christmas sweater with white snowflakes on it, blue jeans, and black boots/shoes

a screenshot from my creative world where there are multiple christmas trees and various farms and contraptions in the background. my player stands facing away from the viewer showing off a custom elytra design that features a carrot farm, a river, and a dirt road pattern.

been playing around with blockbench more and minecraft customization in general. yesterday i made myself a custom elytra texture and started to make basic cat ears for a netherite helmet before deciding to make it cat ear headphones instead.

a screenshot of the BlockBench program showing a model of over ear headphones in the center on a white background. the headphones are black ear cups with a silver inner lining, silver hardware connecting the cups to each other with a black padding on the top for comfort.

a screenshot of the headphones from the first photo on a generic Minecraft player model.

a screenshot of the headphones from the first photo on a Minecraft fox player model. though the fox entities pick things up in their mouth i have modified the placement for when they do that so it appears to be wearing them on it's head, though not on it's actual ears.

a screenshot of the headphones from the first photo as they would appear floating on the ground when dropped they are laying on their side as headphones typically do when dropped on the ground

"So Long, Astoria" by The Ataris. this is probably the first pop-punk band i fell in love with, this entire album is just excellent and just hits me hard every time i hear it.

sometimes you see a random ad photo and just see the possibility of making it better

a candle that is white with a diamond in the bottom right of the photo, the label says:

"

there is a black rectangle covering part of the label with text added that says "hi!!!!" in white text

medium and small flags are now done.

minecraft screenshot showing a gray wall, on the left is a bubblevator, on the right you can see a torch and part of a bed. in the center are the polyamory flag from my quoted post in three different sizes, large, medium, and small.

020

River @collartugs.com · 12/01/2026

blockbench polyamory flag in Minecraft. this was fun to figure out because the heart had to look good and the model is an even number so it's not possible to have the point of the triangle and heart centered on the blue and red stripe lines

a messy minecraft room featuring a bubblevator on the left side. a bed, chest, crafting table, and several shulkers are on the right. directly in the center is a polyamory flag consisting of blue, red, and purple stripes with a white triangle on the left side that is weighted so that the bottom is larger than the top pointing from left to right. inside the white triangle is a gold heart sideways with the bottom pointing towards the right.

been doing minecraft resource pack and model stuff recently. made a resource pack to add a custom bundle for holding a custom music disc. it's a vinyl sleeve that shows the disc slightly slid out when its in the bundle and just a square sleeve when its empty. the back has some stuff on it but…

a minecraft world composed of only iron blocks for the floor. there is one iron block placed on the floor and we are looking at it from the left side at a diagonal so we can see the left and front faces. on the front face is an item frame with a custom model in it that is album art showing a 8-bit drawing of an original gameboy in the forest floor with grass and roots around it.

so bird site is going well obviously. changed how likes and retweets appear/work. the "everything" app is failing to even do the very basics any more

Twitter notifications that show likes and reposts but no longer show what tweets they are in reference to, the just say "USERNAME liked your post" or "USERNAME reposted your repost"

Twitter retweet showing that it now posts a retweet as you but just adds "RT USERNAME:" prior to the person's tweet text.

it was good, needed some salt, but overall 7/10. black pudding, kind of meh on. it didn't taste like anything. i'm betting most people have an issue with the texture since it's soft.

i'm officially in the UK and have walked nearly 5000 steps today and most of them were at the airport. i am really dehydrated though. drinking water and going to get a shower before heading off to museums. 10000 steps yesterday and over 11000 calories burned.
