Bird of Prey (Samus Aran from Metroid Ravenous)

Digital painting portraying the Nintendo character Samus Aran, from the Metroid series, as a ravenous creature on top of a totem.
Samus, a woman wearing a full futuristic space suit with giant round shoulders and an arm canom, crouches on top of a totem while holding a pink flame with a off-putting bird claw shaped hand. Her arm canom on the other hand oozes a yellow substance. She looks at the camera like she has just noticed us.

Y'all, listen. Muramasa rules, and you should buy it so Vanillaware can port everything else they made to the PC. Dragon's Crown, 13 Sentinels, Unicorn Overlord, the world needs to have these games not console-locked!!!

really wish ranger had *any* sort of anti-fatigue tool in this format, feels really bad a pile of 7 and 4 blocks just auto beats me and i have no real agency to do anything about it

For sure! Really hoping I vibe with the format more afterwards, have a lot of locals who are really excited about it and would love to be able to have more fun playing the format with them. Hopefully the CC bans are successful in refreshing the format, but I'm a little worried LSS won't do enough

emi! @collapsingtrap.bsky.social · 09/12/2025

idk maybe just feeling a little bitter and frustrated with the devs being imo pretty out of touch and a probably just a little bit of burn out setting in

000

emi! @collapsingtrap.bsky.social · 09/12/2025

and I'm so tired of hearing about how Aurora will come back. What about any of the Mystic heroes (Zen and Engima both got huge amounts of points from them failing to ban cards in a reasonable amount of time) or dare I say Iys or Lexi coming back??

emi! @collapsingtrap.bsky.social · 09/12/2025

No mention of how Cindra basically would have LL'd already without the modifier and how Verdance (who was a perfectly reasonable deck before Super Slam) got 500 points in one season bc she happened to get broken right as she hit 1x points feels really bad.

emi! @collapsingtrap.bsky.social · 09/12/2025

CC has been stale for months, and the decks that are good have a few too many 90-10 matchups to make me feel good about the meta.

emi! @collapsingtrap.bsky.social · 09/12/2025

in a weird spot with #fabtcg right now. I don't love SAGE as a competitive format, I find it honestly pretty boring and one dimensional. Hoping PEN will bring some more relevant decision points and depth into the format, but pretty worried about it coming up short esp with how hard it's being pushed

Winter’s Poem 3

cat wrapped in multiple layers holding an axe & a bundle of branches, standing in front of a tree in a snowy field.

text reads “As days quickgrow dark and the cold starts anew,
Wrapped up in its bark (and much older than you),
The Tree whispers soft in a voice like a friend,
“We’ve been cold before and we’ll be warm again.”
