Update: Users on Blacksky are now able to log in again. For any users self-hosting rsky, we recommend updating to the now-released v1.14.9. Apologies for any inconveniences.

Update: The PR has been merged. We'll keep monitoring and update you once the fix is deployed on Blacksky's end.

Hi! We have not looked into this yet, but this will probably be up to the PDS (account host) of the user.

Cool idea. Not on our roadmap right now, but definitely something to consider once we're more stable!

A quick heads-up to any users on rsky PDS implementations (mainly the PDSs hosted by @blackskyweb.xyz): You'll be unable to log into Colibri for a bit due to an issue with the PDS itself. There is an open PR to fix this. We'll keep you posted in a thread here. github.com/blacksky-alg...

Update: This looks like an issue with this specific PDS implementation. We're gonna do some digging and get back to you later!

Colibri Social @colibri.social · 26/09/2026

Not yet. We've been trying to collab on a standard, but it's been a slow burn considering we're at very different points in development. It'll probably happen eventually! Until then, we'll be adding compatibility with other ATproto apps

You can try this out now on the spaces alpha! Please be advised that your communities there will not carry over to the eventual live version. You need a spaces-compatible account to log in. Are you interested in making your own bridge? Check out the docs: spaces.colibri.social/docs/bridges...

We'd also like to thank Discord for completely shooting themselves in the foot with their age verification shenanigans.

We should mention that this includes: - Custom channel to channel mapping - Real-time sync - Optional backfill for old messages, which is configurable ... and the entire system can be adapted to work with any Platform other than Discord, like Slack or a Minecraft server.

Update: this is an issue with your PDS host. Tranquil instances < 0.6.8 (unreleased at time of writing) are not compatible with Colibri due to an issue with the PDS itself. We've contributed a fix, the PR has been merged already, we're just waiting on the release!

Now in the Colibri spaces alpha: multi-activity and game activities! We've been developing a lexicon for game activity sharing in the ATProto Games WG and it's slowly getting ready. You can use sync.atplay.games to link your Steam and Discord, then head to spaces.colibri.social/app to try it out!

The IPs are visible to only the operator of the SFU, which by extension is the appview operator, which you should trust anyway. Should be alright!

Colibri Social @colibri.social · 15/09/2026

It's WebRTC, so yes, P2P! The AppView acts as the relay between you and the other users. Technically on protocol because it's handled via XRPC until the UDP/TCP connection hits? But not really.

If you want to try out private data, head over to spaces.colibri.social ;) You just need an account on the spaces alpha PDS. Please do not migrate your main account, as data loss is to be expected! As for us being EU-based, true, but we're 100% open source and aim to be self-hostable!
