We live across the street from Federal Park, a pocket park in the Fan, RVA, that Robyn and other bike messengers frequented for respite and a break. I am quite sure we will see many cyclists gather there today as they honor her every year. RIP Robyn.

If I were on the D.C. Circuit, think I'd take a dim view of these clowns waiting until almost 4 p.m. on the last day and then asking the Court to issue a stay by 7 p.m. You dawdled for two weeks before filing, and now want the Court to drop everything else and rule in 3 hours? Some nerve.

The court should refuse to allow voluntary dismissal of this action, especially in light of the Court's pending order to the parties to brief if there is an actual case or controversy and then dismiss it for lack of subject matter jurisdiction. Don't let this phony fig leaf of a lawsuit give cover.

This seems like a cockup by the Alito majority. In their haste to assist Rs gerrymandering, they've left the 3 judge court with a 14th amendment avenue to throw a wrench in those plans. Thanks Chris, and the estoppel argument is an interesting issue, too.
