The EU/UK spending tax payers money (they probably borrow) to send money to Ukraine who are neither EU or NATO. They talk up war with Russia to try and maintain the gravy train called NATO membership. None of it has been put to their voters for approval. Pulling the strings is the CIA and Trump

UK debt/GDP is 103%. That’s less than US and most of EU countries it’s been stable since 2024 when Labour took over from Tories.

I remember watching Boris Johnson lie about his Brexit deal not having an effective boarder down the centre of the English Channel despite the words in the deal and everyone else. Clearly a lie yet subconsciously I was kind of believing it. I don’t think Trump lies as well as Johnson. I’m English

UK media is in lockstep with US media. It formed people’s opinion on Iraq,Syria,Libya and now Russia and Iran. All of the news reporting left out the part that these were independent oil and gas producers who stop US oil corporations taking over. None of the above were threats to the west.

NATO was set up to defend the US against Soviet Union by having sacrificial bases in Europe and a nuclear shield. After 1991 when CCCP broke up leaving Russia with promises of trade between both. NATO had no reason to exist. Problem Europe NATO employed a lot of people with well paid jobs

There’s a huge floor in social media platforms like Utube , X, Meta etc. it’s the need for clicks and likes. VG sites get corrupted as they become more desperate to increase subscription and hits. I noticed on Utube many of the banners have zero relevance to the content.

Ukraine -Russia war reminds me of a boxer on the ropes being pounded . Bleeding from every office. Crowd waiting for the towel to be thrown in the ring and ref to stop the fight . But nothing happens.

Iran is far away from Isreal and even much farther away from US so why have they the hots to destroy Iran ? Could it be Iran had huge oil and gas deposits that, if sold, threatens US oil industry’s. Or that is part of the China-Russia axis defying US. Or because major seller of oil to China?

I used to listen to @jamesobrian.bsky.social regularly years ago. I liked when he brought knowledgeable guests. Unfortunately he seems to have become lazy with his content. Becoming like many chat hosts. Getting news from local press like the Mail and applying his own opinions as facts .

Apart from the wars ,Ukraine and Iran, the biggest news of the day is the flooding in Spain. Yet very little coverage in MSM. Some on TV BBC and Sky. Why? Maybe the RW press in UK doesn’t want to raise global warming anxiety as they push US desires for more oil production

Ukraine has become, and always was a money pit. Europe/UK (Johnson) thought they could defeat a massive country with resources and a major nuclear power Russia by supporting Ukraine. Russia tried to work with the west so didn’t spend so much on military 2014 changed that.

Sunak as UK PM, previous CX got away with little blame. He gave his father -in-law company Infosys govt contracts. His set up schemes that helped his wife’s business. His wife cleaned COVID furlough support, closed her business owing HMRC £185,000.

Read in the papers that Trump is threatening (extorting Europe/UK) to provide US with Diesel before midterms. He’d burn the world down to benefit him. My view is US orchestrated war in Ukraine and started illegal war in Iran. Don’t care at all about other countries effects on food and fuel.

In the past technology was built to improve and progress human life (carts, roads , rail, energy upto computers and smart phones ). US AI seems to be to destroy or impoverish human lives

It looks to me like the US and UK have raised the rich aren’t our friends are inherently greedy. As a result both countries are becoming more socialist. Since Thatcher and Reagan the infrastructure investment in US and UK has been miserly

I thought diesel cars could run on potato peelings Urine was a mix of urea and ammonia Baby wee is nearly all urea. (Why nursemaids in Victoria times reportedly cleaned their faces with baby diapers-urea in some face cream products)

Trump admin maybe are happy that the oil is blocked in West Asia. Iran was going to open Hormuz months ago and then Trump started the embargo . Probably because he thought he could charge 20%. He green lit Saudi attack on Yemen knowing it would affect the Red Sea.

Crooke stated on ind media that uk citizens are being told to be ready for war. I live in the UK and monitor mainstream media and politics and what he said is bollocks. Nobody is talking about war with Russia. Not even talking about Ukraine. Prob with Utube is its all about generating clicks.

My view on oil prices. Oil at $100/barrel,especially with the £=1.33$ is not extreme. My guess is the US wants oil/barrel around 85-100$ a barrel to make fracking economical and big profits for oil companies. Trump has history of rewarding one company at the expensive of others. Big probes diesel

Looks like US GDP has increased from $28T to $30.7T. My guess is that’s thanks to increase in oil and gas prices and US destroying the competition from Russia and West Asia . Making countries buy energy from US. With .$40T + debt. Makes the debt 129% of GDP and growing (40/31 * 100%) .

Before the Iraq war the UK govt (Labour) and the press went full out to convince the public the war was necessary. Found out lately that it was on a list of mid East countries to be invaded on behalf of isreal. Now they’re trying to convince us that Russia wants to invade Europe . A lie

CIA/MI6/Mossad playbook: Sanction a country u want to regime change, then finance an insurrection and then support the insurrection militarily if needed. As examples Syria Libya and now Iran and Ukraine. Deep state in Europe and UK trying to scare their countries to buy US weapons for war

I understand that the BoE job is to suppress wage rise. What I don’t get is why they’d do that if inflation is caused by rises in fuel prices caused externally. Once prices stabilise inflation will come down. What u need then is businesses to survive and living standards don’t drop.

If US/Israel use nukes then nukes become first strike weapons. This means all the bases in Europe and Pacific become existential threats to Russia, China, North Korea , India , Pakistan. This could cause pre-emptive strikes on those basis unless those countries kick out US bases.

In 2000 Iraq started selling oil in €’s. 2003 US and allies invaded Iraq and took over their oil sold in $’s. Venezuela sold oil to China in its currency, Russia sells oil in Rubbles, Iran in non-$ currencies. All have been attacked by US. US sees selling oil outside the $ as an existential threat

The scary bit about the US. US now are like the old Soviet Union. Failing economy, out of date military, relies solely on nuclear arsenal for defence. The CCCP were weak because they’d just come out of a brutal WW2. The US is weak because of greed and decisions by Reagan to change to financial economy

For the uk to survive financially we need to allow China to invest in manufacturing in the UK.Let them build our infrastructure. borrow from them at lower interest rates to pay off our debt. Sell US bonds. Make friends with the Russians and buy their oil, gas, fertilisers etc. trade with Global South
000
Dan Cole @cole0007.bsky.social · 23/09/2026
Thatcher sowed the seeds of UK demise by selling off our assets (especially oil) and deindustrialising and moving economy to US financialisation. It’s taken 40 years for Uk to spiral down. UK should look for Chinese investment and Russian resources to recover. Won’t be easy and US will threaten

My view based on independent news, especially from US. Is how the west lose wars. It’s that the western countries made war a business so buy, make expensive weapons. Russia,China,Iran , Yemen make cheap easy to manufacture weapons. US manufacturers model no longer works.

The world , inc US is asking how did they vote for Trump as president? What they should be asking is why was the only choice a senile 80 year old (Biden) and a 76 year old felon, narcissist?

Dan Cole @cole0007.bsky.social · 14/09/2026
How stupid are the Europeans? Don’t they know the US will get them to sacrifice their economy but not US.Biden when sanctioning Russia gas after Ukraine invasion set the cap to not impact US gas prices. US will never attack a country who can seriously attack US. Nukes need IBMs to dissuade US attack

Dan Cole @cole0007.bsky.social · 11/09/2026
America can’t defeat China or Russia militarily (they can’t defeat Yemen or Iran). So they use covert means , proxies and sanctions to try. It’s important to realise the war in Iran and Russia is more about cutting off China from Oil than Isreali expansion

The Ukraine war Ukraine has lost. Russia has more resources , missiles , firepower etc. Russia control the skies and Ukraine have drones to upset Russia but there infrastructure is collapsing. Only reason Ukraine don’t sue for peace is the west keep giving them money.

Tory govt 2010-24 A strong economy provides for a strong public services and NHS 2026 no mention of a strong …. Provides for a strong defence. No it’s cut benefits (punish the poor). We could have military bonds for ppl to invest

US will end Ukraine war to save the US. They will remove sanctions so Russia can sell their oil and US can rebuild their reserves. They also could buy fertiliser from Russia for US planting season.

Since 2016ish the head of the BoE remit seems to allow unearned income (Stocks, house prices, dividends , assets etc) and corporate profits to increase unabated yet salaries to be suppressed. As a result CEOs, top 1% has seen their wealth explode while salaries have stagnated and growth anaemic.

I can’t understand why govt would increase interest rates when inflation is caused by external sources such as increase in oil prices? There is a simple explanation of stopping ppl buying to reduce inflation, but that seems to be counter productive.

Dan Cole @cole0007.bsky.social · 03/09/2026
Tories answer to anything financial: Cut taxes, cut welfare. Considering in the UK most of welfare and its increase is the state pension I don’t see how Labour can. All that’s left are in work benefits, so increase minimum wages to take them out of benefits; but Tories don’t agree with that.

Dan Cole @cole0007.bsky.social · 02/09/2026
Govt main responsibility should be to balance the books. Borrow for infrastructure projects but day to day running of govt should be balanced. It should be illegal to cut the tax intake without cutting spending so it’s balanced. Should be £ for £.

My favourite series is Silo. The only reason why I can see that they split up Daniel Keene and Helen to silo 1 and 18 is that they become the ancestors of Juliette. Daniel is put on ice but will meet his relative Juliette

Isn’t it strange that the west attempt to breakup a weak Russia and steal its resources has created the monster the west fears? By the US/UK overthrowing Ukraine President and installing a puppet and then another puppet who support NATO. It forced Russia to militarise. It took them 4 years to do so.

One US commentator said the reason why US debt is out of control is because of US cutting taxes since the 80s under Reagan that mainly benefited the rich. That if they went back to 2001 tax policies the debt would be much smaller. In the UK it was since 2010 that Tory govt aggressively cut taxes

I live in UK. Not a fan of country and western music so not a fan of Dollie Partons music. But what a wonderful person she was. If she was Italian she’d probably be made a saint for all the good she’s done and the love she gives out.RiP Dollie. A small stature but a gigantic figure and personality

Starmer, probably receiving orders from his Isreali linked sponsors, was cutting UK investment to fund Ukraine war. Burnham gave Ukraine blueprints they can’t use, maybe they can sell it to the Chinese, Russians or Iranians . In The Times reported Burnham wants to stop sending arms but MPs resisting

I genuinely believe the Ukraine-Russia war was orchestrated by the US/UK on direction from Isreal especially with Trump as president. If successful the US could’ve made Crimea its aircraft carrier to target Isreali threats like Iran and soon Turkey. As well as being to strike Russia before Russia
