Happy (belated) Mid-Autumn! 中秋節快樂! We have a mix of a new/old here! Matcha Mooncake! The crust! That filling!🤤 While the outside was slightly sweet, enough to taste, that oozing center brought out a bit of eggy saltiness is what I'd want in a traditional🥮😌🤌🏼

Getting into the home stretch now! Mung bean + osmanthus🥮Look. At. That. Design👀! Smooth outside w/ a little chew that makes a great mouthfeel. Loving these layers inside, the osmanthus jam was just sweet enough to taste. Very light!

💡never occurred to me to mix red bean + dates for a filling🔥 Crust is much firmer than the others I had but matches this filling quite well! There's definitely more flavor 'umph'! & sweetness w/ red bean+date mixed together

Whoa: Traditional pastry w/ Apple Cinnamon HEL-LO new flavor experience what- flaky shell with thee most subtle cinnamon flavor in what I'd say was more like a thick apple jam that wasn't too sweet! Probably akin to a thicc fig newton but not as chewy. Also, thee first🥮my sib likes🔥
