Not all the kits I build are robots. At the same time, not all the pictures I take are so clean or carefully set. Sometimes, the best shots happen when things are still messy. #Gundam #Gunpla

Tried recreating the pose from HF/the box art. Definitely looks the part. What a beauty this biggun is!

The integrated Jesta-style shield was an interesting choice. It gives the GK a distinct look, but I think I'll leave it in its neutral position from here on. Getting it over the shoulder is a little tricky.

The GK poses pretty well, too! Even in the air. I was expecting some parts to clash here and there, and they do, but there's nothing you can't push or pull on to get stuff out of the way. There's also the thrusters tucked away in the sides of the lower legs, which are such a cool touch.

What a bruiser of a bot. I normally like a balanced build to my robots, but the Gustav Karl wins me over despite its bulk. For an HG, it's got great colour accuracy, is solid, and has a great presence. I'd build another if I had the space for two. #Gundam #Gunpla

Progress of my HG Gustav Karl Type-00 build. There's something simply delightful about having this much articulation in this grade. Sure, it's a big kit and explains the price , but it's still wild compared to previous HGUC grunts. #Gundam #Gunpla

The visor catches light remarkably well. It might be strong lighting in this shot, but in most conditions, it looks like it glows. Shine Silver was used behind the visor.
The Lightcannon, harshly lit with sunlight. The eyes and visor appear to glow.

Visually distinct and plenty articulate for a grunt suit, especially with a half-n-half design.

The GQ Lightcannon was an interesting bot to build, so much so that I built two of them. Past the strange GQ aesthetic, the Lightcannon's design is bulky enough for my mech tastes. The stickers didn't appeal to me, so I went and painted many of those details instead. #Gundam #Gunpla

The second set of G-Rework Stark Jegan decals worked wonders. Same paint under the visor as my MG Jegan: Cosmo Blue, Shine Silver. The bazooka came from a GM II Semi Striker, but it fits in the Jegan's hands well enough.

I always thought the Jegan Type-D was a neat redo of the CCA original. The shoulders maintain their profile without being too large and are more in line with the cubey arms and thighs. The new backpack is cool, too, though the tweaked visor shape doesn't quite feel right. #Gundam #Gunpla

It definitely doesn't come across the best in photos, haha. Definitely rough in places, though - I only had the thicker oil-ish Gundam Markers for panelling then, and my hands were never the steadiest for scribing.

The MG Narrative Gundam Ver.Ka has stuck around as my first MG kit and second 1:100. It's not my favourite these days, but I can't deny that it looks beautiful, even with poor panel lining and even poorer scribing. Made all the better with a third-party psychoplate set. #Gundam #Gunpla

A chunky fellow for an HG kit. The GM Cannon II was a fun build, won at FanExpo Toronto 2025. Many uncoloured details were painted with Gundam Markers. As bulky as this thing is, it poses and balances pretty darn well. #Gundam #Gunpla

Since the days have been chilly again, here's my favourite of the classic GM family: the Cold Districts type. This shot was taken on one of our colder, snowier days. #Gundam #Gunpla

Excellent articulation for a simple build. A real posing machine for how simple it seems.

The MG Jegan - the best of classic Gundam grunt mechs and a wonderful kit to work with. This one has been detailed with G-Rework decals and panel lining on recessed parts. Cosmo Metallic Blue and Shine Silver Gundam Markers were used behind the visor. #Gundam #Gunpla

Heya! Welcome to my hobby page, where I'll be posting photos, drawings, and who knows what else! I obsess over fluffy animals and giant robots, so there'll be plenty of those! If you want to talk model kits, art, or what-have-you, I'm always down to chat!
