I welcomed Naisa home yesterday! I saved up and waited until one instantly spoke to me. This is a Smart Doll "I Owe You Nothing" in Cocoa. I made her a pair of sarouel pants from an old shirt and stockings. The green boots I bought and the rest she borrowed from her new siblings. #dollsky

Libi came with me to my friend's garden yesterday. They've made their own pond and stream to direct rain run-off. It was a lovely, end of summer kind of day. #bjd #dollsky #RingDoll

My weekend project was a sundress for Surya. I used silk lining from an old skirt and lace trim that I found in the sewing notions I inherited from my grandmother. Next she needs some foot wear... I might try the Hanon boots pattern if I feel brave enough. #bjd #dollsky #Irrealdoll

Wig 1.0 for my Surya. The amount of wool I started with vs how it ended up amazed me. Next up I'm trying braids with pipe cleaner inside so I can pose them. #bjd #dollsky #Irrealdoll

Last December I ordered an Irrealdoll Surya in their new ganache resin. She arrived yesterday and I am obsessed! The face sculpt is so good. The grey wig is the only one I had that fit so I might try my hand at wig making this weekend. I wish it was easier to find dark resin dolls! #bjd #dollsky

I made some sarouel pants out of an old wool scarf and then a wide belt from a scrap of ribbon. The embroidered smock I made last year from an old pyjama top. The wee book was made by a friend of mine. I still haven't landed on a name for her/them. #bjd #dollsky #RingDoll #sewing.
