Option C: for seaport From Barrington (or after cutting through the shipyard parking lot), you can ride on North Marginal Rd. to Africville Rd. Even extending the Barrington greenway this much further would make this park a lot more accessible!

Africville Rd. is more like a rural highway than a city street, but generally has very low traffic volumes.

Option B: more street, less hill From Lady Hammond Road, turn onto Mackintosh St., then turn left onto Bayne. Follow Bayne until it crosses the tracks and becomes Africville Rd.

Option A: Car-light, hill-heavy From Novelea, take the trail under the Mackay bridge. At the bottom of the hill, turn right onto the gravel trail. Cross under the bridge again, then turn left from the parking lot onto Africville Road.

We are back to Dartmouth this week with a special coffee & cruise! Meet at Albro Lake Park Thursday, June 18th for coffee at 7:00am 🚲 Afterwards, we’ll be doing a quick ride through the trails in Cyril Smith Golden Acres Park. It’s a bit like Shubie Jr. - gravel, a couple hills, and lake views.
