My 11-year old came up with a fun and funky #kidlit character for a story she is writing. she asked me if I would draw it for her. It was such a fun concept I decided not only to draw but #crochet the little guy as well. Meet Cole. The cabbage octopus. 🐙 #watercolor #kidlitart #illustration

I love the texture you can get when you mix watercolor with Neocolor ii’s. I’m not a big tomato eater but these look yummy 😋 #kidlitart #watercolor #traditonalart #illustration

Spent the last few weeks painting armored animals… putting that knowledge to good use by now painting the ginger flowers we have in Costa Rica that remind me of scales/armor. #kidlitart #illustration #watercolor #art

Not sure why I keep drawing these little armored critters lately. Well, they are a lot of fun! Added an armadillo. First time drawing one. Will probably draw many more! #traditionalart #kidlitart #art
