Indian astrophysicist Jayant Narlikar passed away recently. His name sounded familiar, so I digged a little and lo behold he was actually the author of one of my favorite childhood science books "A Journey through the Universe". With superb funny cartoons by Sudhir Dar, this book truly made me!

Michael Crichton's Dragon Teeth is an entertaining Wild West quest for dinosaur bones set amidst the war between US Army and Native Americans. Easy quick read, but lacks the depth of his famous books. My rating: ★★★☆☆ My review: codeyarns.com/personal/202...

"The NVIDIA Way" covers the history of the company (& its CEO) from its graphics cards roots to DL accelerators today. Birth, early history are detailed, company culture is interesting, but the rest is mostly a business book. Rating: ★★★☆☆ My review: codeyarns.com/personal/202... #books #NVIDIA

Angrynomics looks at the relation of economics to today's public anger. It is presented as dialogues between the 2 authors. Though timely, I really felt that the book was lacking in structure, real data and insights. My rating: ★★★☆☆ My review: codeyarns.com/personal/202... #books

Phantom Thread has Daniel Day-Lewis as a 1950s London dressmaker with controlling personality and a complicated relationship with his muse. Fantastic background score, acting, lighting, cinematography. But plot was very confusing. My rating: ★★★☆☆ en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phantom_Thread

We loved the Rosicrucian Egyptian Museum in San Jose. Largest collection of original artifacts in Western US, famous replicas, play ancient board game Senet, temple facade & gardens around. Easily 2-3 hours of a great time. My rating: ★★★★★ en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rosicrucian_E…
