A sign with the word ‘MEN’ on it, with a subtitle of ‘[Ominous Music]’, as if ominous music was playing when the camera looks at the ‘MEN’ sign.

this is my velcro cat who i was really worried about while i was away last week. the person petting her is my partner, who velcro cat likes but previously didn’t LOVE to this degree

A tortoiseshell cat with her eyes closed, pressing her face and paws into the chest of a person in a black shirt. The person is scratching the cat’s ear with one hand.

please show me your voting sticker (i love the variety of designs and think they are neat) here’s mine! #voting #elections

A round blue sticker with the text “I voted” in white, with a smaller line of text “Pierce County” beneath. There is a red check mark in the “O” of voted. There is an illustration of Mount Rainier in white at the bottom of the sticker.

Really pleased with the new tattoo, a memorial for my gramma and pa. (ink by Anna Heindl)

A black and grey tattoo of a Kodak disposable camera with a grasshopper atop it. The tattoo is on white freckled skin and placed just above the elbow.

pleased to report that my dad is spending father’s day in ultimate dad mode: he’s at a meet-up with his corvette club, being a car nerd and enjoying the New England summer

A dozen corvettes, some old and some modern, are parked in an arc with their noses pointing out. The closest cars are red and yellow, while some further away are silver and blue. In the background are green trees and overcast but bright skies.

Acclimatizing to the crate is going well.

A black cat is curled up and relaxing in the back corner of a large wire mesh dog crate. The door closest to the viewer is open, allowing an unobstructed view inside. The crate has a plush gray mat on the bottom and a black fabric crate cover on three sides and the top. Inside the crate is a cat toy shaped like a mouse, and two tube-shaped cat toys closer to the cat’s tail.

i liked the shapes of the cups and salt shaker at the breakfast buffet in a hotel i was at so i doodled them. i’m “not an artist” but that doesn’t mean i can’t make art and share it

A small notebook held in a white person’s palm showing penciled doodles of cups and a cylindrical salt shaker. The largest cup has a saucer under it and a small face poking out with a nose over the edge and fingers visible on either side of the head. The cylindrical salt shaker has a speech bubble coming out of it with the chemical formula for table salt, “NaCl”

for our anniversary my partner got me a hoodie with our cats faces embroidered on it and i LOVE IT SO MUCH

A white person with wavy long brown hair and round glasses is smiling and winking at the camera. They are wearing a navy blue zip-up hoodie embroidered with the faces of three cats. One cat is long haired and black with white whiskers. The next cat is a tortoiseshell with green eyes. The last cat is a brown and orange tabby with a white chin.

bout to spend all day watching LOTR with the boy

View from the left side of a movie theater with the title card “Lord of the Rings” displayed on the screen. The seats are red and there are red and gold embellishments around the screen.

Took some experimenting but I’m getting a nice clean selvedge now. This beautiful loom (and the shuttle!) were crafted by the talented Jacob K Seidel: www.jkseidel.com #weaving #fiberarts

A close-up of a checkered woven band in navy and light blue. The band is still on the loom and being woven, with the shuttle resting in the shed and part of a rigid wooden heddle visible in the background.

I think I’ll call her Marcie.

A tape loom made of wood, dressed with dark and light blue threads. The tape loom is shaped like an open topped box with a large reel in the back for threads to be wound upon and a smaller reel in the center to wind finished tape onto. A flat piece of wood with slats cut into it and holes drilled into the slats sits at the front of the loom, called a rigid heddle.

picked up a new journal almost exclusively because i’m obsessed with this year planner layout

A close up of an A5 size planner opened to a two page layout labeled “Yearly Plan”. The layout is a grid, where each month is a row and each day is a column. There are 31 columns, each is two grid squares wide. There are 12 rows, each is three grid squares wide. There is an additional unlabeled column at the far right of the grid, one square wide and without internal subdivisions like the other cells. The ink is orange and the page is a warm off-white color.

A black cat sitting in a brown cardboard box. The cat is basking in sunlight and looks relaxed. The cardboard box has paizo.com printed on one side.
