It's nice when they take an interest in your hobbies. Has anyone seen the mop? #Caturday #Cats #CatsOfBluesky

A picture of a black and white cat sitting next to a desk that is being used for miniature painting. The cat is staring intently, in a diverting braincell to impending mayhem way, at a white mug containing water that has been used to wash off the brush. In the foreground is a Frontier Wargaming wet palette with purple and metallic silver paint on it, and in the background a few racks of the Frontier Wargaming paint case are visible with assorted expensive tiny bottles of acrylic paint.

Life hack: Play 90s games to avoid the GPU price hike #Gaming #RetroComputing #RetroGames

A two part meme split horizontally. The top part has LeVar Burton, as Geordi La Forge, with his hand out in a "stop" gesture with the text "VISA" to the right; the bottom has him with a finger pointing in an approval gesture and the text "VESA" to the right.

When doing UX/web design, it may also be worth considering the wording you use. Especially if your website is for health insurance

The Internet likes feet pics, right? #Caturday #Cats

In this latest episode of I may have to grow older, but I don't have to grow up, the perfectly normal adult human adorns his backpack. Naturally most of them are Discworld pins

A photograph of a backpack with a selection of pin badges: 40 years of Discworld, Great A'Tuin, Unseen University, the Curious Squid, The Luminous Lemur, a bear with a coffee cup and the text "Shh coffee first", a round pin with a cat in a box with the text "I can't go. I'm an inside cat", the Planet Express ship from Futurama, one with just text that says "Easily Motivated by Snacks", and The Luggage

Now THIS is a Discworld pin badge that means business.

A pin badge depicting Paul Kidby's artwork of Great A'Tuin, the star turtle from Discworld. I have it resting on my fingers and the pin badge takes up the full width of my hand.

Apparently Reform now want to keep the Welsh out of England... I thought he was going to turn out to be a bot that spams "Vote Reform" on posts about multilingual subjects, but he replied to someone. Comment has just disappeared so either BBC deleted or realisation kicked in 😂

A screenshot of a BBC news article on Facebook. The post reads "A councillor for the area welcomed the idea of bilingual signage in supermarkets, but said it should be in "Cornish not Welsh". The article images is of the sign which reads "Bwyd môr" as well as "Seafood"

The comment included in the screenshot reads "England is for the English. Vote Reform"

Not done any miniature painting for ages, so I'm quite happy with how this one turned out :) #Warhammer #AgeOfSigmar #MiniaturePainting

A photo of a Kharadron Overlords Arkanaut Company miniature built with the Aethermatic Volley Gun. Its suit is painted purple, the gloves are a cream colour, and its armour painted with dark silver metallic paint. The gun body is painted in a brass/bronze metallic style, and the barrel is a slightly darker version of the metal used on the armour.

Today I present a photo of my cat doing her best impression of "Wired headphones removed from pocket" #Caturday #CatsOfBluesky #Cats

A black and white cat lying on her side on a sofa with her front and back paws all crossed over and her tail intertwined between them.

My cat, who is angling for a second pouch of wet food*, is an expert at what I'm referring to as "psychological warstare" *Presumably because she didn't get enough gravy on her nose the first time #Cats #CatsOfBluesky

A black and white cat sitting on a burgundy rug. She's staring wide eyed at the camera, her bushy white whiskers and elaborate white eyebrows framing her face in a way that suggests she hasn't been fed since the dawning of the modern age. The tip of her nose is slightly discoloured from sticking her face right into her first meal.

As the weather gets colder, animals are attracted to heat. Prior to performing any computationally expensive operations, please make sure to check any PC towers with top mounted radiators for cats. #Cats #CatsOfBluesky

A black and white cat sitting under a desk on top of a PC tower, which has a glass window and components illuminated blue. Just underneath the cat, you can see a top mounted AIO cooler radiator which is being almost completely blocked. The cat's eyes are wide, with dilated pupils, because a firework went off just as the picture was being taken.

For scale, here is the same mini next to a one pence piece

A photograph of the small green flared nostril swamp dragon Errol from the Discworld book Guards! Guards!. He is sitting in a brown wooden crate.

There is a penny to the side, which is approximately the same width across as the miniature.

Happy #Caturday everyone. For anyone keeping track, my cat has now fully and unashamedly claimed the Discworld blanket #CatsOfBluesky #Cats #Discworld #TerryPratchett

I recently added the three PC (CD-ROM) games to my collection! :) They were also available for Mac and Sega Saturn, but as I have neither of those it would be even further of a stretch to justify getting them 😅

From top left to bottom centre: Discworld 1 (Big Box Edition PC CD-ROM), Discworld II (Big Box Edition PC CD-ROM), Discworld Noir (Jewel Case PC CD-ROM), Discworld 1 (PS1), Discworld 2 (PS1), Discworld Noir (PS1)

If it makes any #Discworld fans feel better about not yet managing to grab one of the new @discworldemporium.bsky.social reading blankets, I too have been having availability issues with it... small and grumpy shaped availability issues.

An image of two halves. The top half shows my happy self holding up my newly acquired Discworld reading blanket, from the Discworld emporium, and the bottom shows the same blanket folded up with a black and white cat lying on it.

"Am I an over thinker?", I ponder, as I put down a bowl of food for my cat, and turn off the daily schedule for the constantly filled & charged auto-feeder, for I have survived the night. Nah... #Cats #Caturday #CatsOfBluesky

I'm giving BlueSky another go. Unfortunately, this means I need to find everyone again. If any #Discworld folk in the vicinity could raise your arms* and wave that would help tremendously *If you are out and about this may not be advisable... especially at a restaurant. #Discworld #TerryPratchett
