I finished Futari Wa Pretty Cure the other day (100% recommend) and this moment won't leave my head. Imagine a snow monster interrupting your time with the boy you like, then you do the gayest possible attack with your PreCure partner, and then the villain says something really out of pocket. 10/10

Just finished sleeving every card in all the Red Dragon Inn sets and expansions I have. It's roughly 2000+ cards so far since I'm missing RDI 6 and a bunch of Allies. It's about 27.3 pounds of board game... Wish I had more friends locally who want to play lmao

I might honestly dip into my savings and get a Steam Frame (if the lottery chooses me lol). I tried revisiting my Valve Index and that thing was not meant to last 6 years. Both controllers had their batteries die. I replaced one but the other now needs a battery bank strapped to my arm!

Ok this LEGO Gameboy kit was a lot more fun to put together than I expected. Absolutely love the attention to detail such as the save battery inside the Zelda cartridge.

I really want to work on upgrading this WASD controller eventually but I need to get back to playing more fighting games lol. I can't decide on what kind of art I want, but I definitely want to label the buttons. There are 6 side buttons that i don't remember what they're mapped to...

Kaido Genkai: An Anime Racing RPG I was brought back to the early 6th gen era racing games, specifically NFS Most Wanted and its open world approach. The soundtrack was full of bangers. D-Topia A nice calming puzzle game with an interesting mystery to uncover while you play. It feels a bit unsettling but the gameplay is still slow that you can approach it all at your own pace. Might pick this up on Switch 2 honestly.

Foldy's OS Quest A really cute 3D platformer with a retro style that I adore. The platforming felt a bit too sensitive, whenever I tried to correct a jump I ended up over-correcting and die. But aside from controls, everything was really fun and I'm excited to see where it goes! @vacationhome.games

One Song, One Life It takes a lot for rhythm games to surprise me with unique gameplay mechanics. Somehow they made a choose-your-own-adventure game in a short but sweet rhythm game adventure where the song changes as you make a choice. Can't wait to see where this goes.

Duskfade Inspired by Kingdom Hearts and action adventure games from the PS2 era. This was a wonderful adventure full of heart and the steampunk fantasy setting was a treat visually. Controls were solid but I wish the camera would snap to the grapple points so I could better see where I was going.

SPRAWL zero A great fast-paced FPS inspired by the 2000s era shooters and man this demo was an incredible trip. Its so crazy and over the top with its gameplay that I was having a great time.

Fading Echo Really fun action platformer with really unique mechanics that felt like a PS2 era action game like Jak and Daxter, but with squid form from Splatoon. Puzzles are great. I can't wait for more!

Project Turboblast This arcade racing game is so fast and crazy but I've never felt more in control of the vehicle than I am with other similar games. The controls just click and it makes for a very exciting experience, with a full on Dreamcast/Gamecube era artstyle that I love.

About Fishing This game caught me by surprise. You take the SEGA style fishing games and combine it with a supernatural mystery and you have the most engaging & gripping game this Next Fest. Why yes, I did buy an HDMI to AV adapter to play PC games on my CRT. This was actually a pain in the ass to set up just to get the proper aspect ratio and even then not every game works... The overscan is horrendous also.

I'm a huge sucker for escape room games, and Call of the Elder Gods was scratching that itch incredibly well. This time theres a full story involved with a very fun narrator. The mystery introduced had me wanting more and the puzzles were a great level of challenge!
