Overall the dialogue in XI is quite good imo, and SIGNIFICANTLY less wordy than XIV. Most cutscenes and discussions just get right to the point without sacrificing character/worldbuilding. That being said, Prishe is still Prishe.

Well since XIV is actually getting a for-realsies Prishe glam, may as well give my old Prishe cosplay one last hurrah

WE GOT PRISHE ON A CARD, THIS IS NOT A DRILL
A Magic: The Gathering card called "Prishe's Wanderings." The card art features Prishe from Final Fantasy XI leading a group of adventurers. It's an instant with a mana cost of two colorless and one green, with the effect "Search your library for a basic land card or Town card, put it onto the battlefield tapped, then shuffle. When you search your library this way, put a +1/+1 counter on target creature you control." The flavor text reads: "There's only one reason. They smell an adventure! C'mon! We've got no time to lose!"

Screenshot of a discord chat. User named "Shapeshift" (edited to be Prishe from Final Fantasy XI) says "im so treatpilled" while user named "KiteKaito" (edited to be Ulmia from FFXI) replies "ok so lets work on this. 'i like sweets'"

Prishe has unique comments for each race! I haven't seen them all, I wonder if there's a compilation somewhere...

A lot more XIV content comes from XI than most people realize, lol

The Man Who Wasn't There (2001) Beautifully shot and written, I really loved this. The story is dense but not confusing, and kept me on the edge of my seat right up to the end. I love how focused it is on complicated emotions, and how difficult it is to express or communicate them.
Movie poster for The Man Who Wasn't There (2001). Black text with yellow drop-shadowing can be seen on a light grey background, reading "The Man Who Wasn't There" - within the word "Man" can be seen several faces in black and white.

O Brother, Where Art Thou? (2000) For whatever reason, I was under the impression this was a serious drama, similar to The Shawshank Redemption. It was not that lmao. Based on the Odyssey, I wasn't super crazy about this one. Had some fun scenes and I liked the characters and aesthetic, though!
The movie poster for O Brother, Where Art Thou? (2000). Three convicts can be seen running through a green field on a sepia-tone sky. The title of the film can be seen in black text up above, with smaller text reading "They have a plan, but not a clue." beneath it.

The Big Lebowski (1998) Also seen this one, because who hasn't seen this? I don't have much to add that hasn't been said before, but man - this thing's borderline-meme status really undersells how wildly funny the bits are that don't get parroted all the time. Incredibly funny movie.
The poster for the movie The Big Lebowski (1998). A man in a white jumpsuit holds a woman in a golden valkyrie outfit, showing her how to properly throw a bowling ball. They are surrounded by golden clouds and a heavenly light shining from above. The text "Times like these call for a Big Lebowski" can be seen in cursive black text above them. "The Big Lebowski" can be seen below them in bold black letters.

Fargo (1996) The first of these I'd seen before, and the primary example of the Coens' theme of "idiots trying to do crime." Damn-near a perfect movie, highly recommend everyone watch this, it's so good.
The movie poster for Fargo (1996) - a knitted tapestry depicts a corpse in a red jacket lying face-down in the snow. A car can be seen upside-down in the background. In red text, the title "Fargo" appears on the top, with "a homespun murder story" beneath it. Red diamond and blue star shaped patters line the borders.

The Hudsucker Proxy (1994) Was surprised to find out this has fairly negative reviews, I liked it quite a lot! I thought it was cute and very funny. Apparently Sam Raimi threw firecrackers at the Coens as they tried to write this, and it definitely has that energy in a good way. Capitalism blows!!
The movie poster for The Hudsucker Proxy (1994) - a man in a suit stands above the camera on a white background, holding a bright red hula hoop, his tie fluttering in the wind. There is a smiling woman's face to his left, and a cackling businessman smoking a cigar is on the right. Behind them are gears of a clock. The text "The Hudsucker Proxy" can be seen below the man, in industrial-looking letters.

Barton Fink (1991) My favorite so far, I really loved this. Excellent setting, great characters, and a simple story that goes off the rails and gets weird. Feels like it has a lot to say about a lot of things, I can't wait to watch it again.
The movie poster for Barton Fink (1991) - depicts a man with curly hair and round glasses with a nervous or scared expression, lit by yellow light. A mosquito is perched on his forehead with an unusually large shadow. The title text "Barton Fink" is seen in the bottom left, in black letters.

Miller's Crossing (1990) Was a bit hard to follow at first, but once I got into it I liked it quite a lot. I loved all the intrigue and double-crossing, really kept me on my toes. The weirdly cartoony bits with the cops were great, the tone of this was weird but I'm into it.
The movie poster for Miller's Crossing (1990) - two men are in a lush forest. One is in a black suit, holding a pistol. The other is in a white shirt, on his knees in front of the first man, seemingly begging. The text "Millet's Crossing" is below them in yellow letters.

Raising Arizona (1987) A live-action Loony Toons cartoon, this fuckin' ruled. Best chase scene in cinematic history.
The poster for the movie Raising Arizona (1987) - shows a photo of a man, a woman, and a baby lounging on yellow pool chairs on a blue background. The photo itself is on a white background, such as in a photo album. The text "Their lawless years are behind them. Their child-rearing years lay ahead..." is above the photo. Below the photo is the title "Raising Arizona" with the "A" in "Raising" being a diaper pin. Below the title is the text "A comedy beyond belief."

Blood simple (1984) Surprisingly straightforward for a Coen bros movie, unsurprising since it was their first. Loved how slow and moody it was, and M. Emmet Walsh's character was fantastic.
The poster for the movie Blood Simple (1984) - a man crawls on his hands and knees in front of a car's headlights at night, while a man in the background holds a shovel. The title "Blood Simple" looms above in neon letters.

I play obscure PS1 games with friends pretty often, we have a backlog of like 700+ games chosen because none of us had heard of them. Back when that 5x5 grid thing was going around, I made one of the best / funniest / most interesting titles we'd found.
