Tested some new things. Embroidery on felt. A few things to sell at a larp tournament. Very underprised for the work i put in but thats nearly everything you do in larp. If you want good events you have to throw in a lot yourself and if everyone does it its a great result. Plug and play is meh.

Eastern european vampire boyband. Table ready bit without base till all vampires are painted. Used darkarts two thin coats paints(blue by citadel). Love the coverage and saturation.

Halftime mongolian vampire brutes Used the new DarkArts duncan rhodes paints. Love the colors and the feel. More mixing than water blending i think. The bottles are so messy and leaky you have to be careful when pouring the paints onto palette. #twothincoats #cursedcity #minipainting

Friends are going to teach me BloodBowl in a week. Naturally i need a new team for that. I liked #skaven in the videogame so i bought the box. I hate black primer i am blind as a mouse painting over it. Rat skin: TuskgorFur lightly layered on black with a DarkRedTone wash. Next Tuskgor smaller.

No miniatures right now. Working on a birthday present for a dear friend. Two days work in stitching. Looking at photo references of wild boar i am stitching my way to a complete motive. Rough outlines with a graphite pencil helped at the start. Quite pleased with myself. #embroidery #needlework

Babysteps: Finally basecoated the two Warhammer Frogs. Got a webcam to stream but now i need a rack to get a decent camera position to show the mini while painting. Couldn t resist the geek hype, i bought Hytale, looks very much like a nice longterm game you can build and play in a few hours a week.

This deathrattle army box Wight lord is a very delicate thing to build. You even might say its fiddly. But it looks good. Is going to be difficult to paint, a lot of overlapping details.

Having a motion sickness problem i don t get to play shooter games. But now i bought Escape from Duckov and its fun. Its hard for me on "normal balanced" mode but i struggle with keyboard and reaction due to lack of experience.

How crazy is the cam adjustment of GW s Golden Demon photos. I highly prefer the more natural out of shelf look on the right. Its proof you can t trust web pictures and certainly don t let yourself get defeated by it. This is high class painting but always check reality #goldendemon #warhammer

A short historic woodcut trace sketch. An insider joke about Landsknecht in golf outfit. A larp festival is going to rent a former golf area so i imagined how i would dress a landsknecht character. Nice colorwork vest, checkered socks, a golfball-esque codpiece, tam o shanter baret with pompom.

Finally got my hands on a set of flourescent colors. Hard to get these days, i chose ProAcryl Monument Hobbies ones. Liked painting with the rogue hobbies color set. They are so matte and opaque. More difficult to blend but nice as base colors or striking highlights.

Finally we finished the tournament helmet decor. Mi parti hood with stuffed circlet as crest base. Griffon crest is carved foam coated with paint and flexible topcoat. He send his helmet and a 2d silhouettes of his crest and wool fabric. For a bretonnian #warhammer #larp character.

I am quite chuffed with my foam cut sculpt and the sewn helmet cover. We only had a silhouette like 2d image of his crest. Looking at the foam block i could see the shape but you have shave it down. Also used real eagle photos as reference for the frontal beak shape. #larp #cosplay #medieval

Basecolors for infernalbrush #critterchallenge24 I don't like the shine of vallejo xpress color. Color is great but its a bit like thinned seal laquer. Its ok its only for the darkest base tones and its hoing to be glazed over. That goblin is tiny phew.

I got up and wanted to throw the bedsheets in the wash. One of our cats had none of it. He got heavy and flat like a fluff pancake. So i gave in and a few hours later he is still blocking the bed and ignoring me removing the blankets.

Being a women of 1ooo crafts i taught myself knitting after crocheting since childhood. Recently i discovered untreated spun sheepswool and i don t want to go back(so expens.) Its soft, and warm and natural. Sadly i am bad in finishing projects. Also want to learn to spin, hope it sticks.

A very german tabletop weekend. A rustic cabin in the woods. Ice and snow outside, only heatsource is the wood stove. Bratwurst(roasted sausage) in a bun as snack and weißwurst(cooked sausage) and pretzels as breakfast. We brought our woodland terrain.
