I look for necklaces with cool chains at thrift stores for jewelry projects. Yesterday I suddenly remembered I had tiny greenstones and Lake Superior agates my Dad and I found on one of rock collecting trips. I added a UP charm that had been waiting for the right project.

It was very peaceful. The vet came to our house. She gave Tork the drug to relax him while I held him on my lap. I sang his lullaby into his ear and told him I loved him. He smiled and rested his head on my shoulder and then he crossed the Rainbow Bridge

I had hand surgery today. I get to wear this lovely dressing for 8 days. The topical anesthesia has worn off and it is a bit painful 😬

Tork had T-cell lymphoma that didn’t respond to CHOP chemo. I did palliative care until he started showing signs of going downhill. I promised him I would not let him suffer. I know your love will ensure you will do the best thing for her. Please take care.

Update on my ankle - the MRI confirmed the ortho urgent care doc was right - my peroneous longus tendon is completely torn, among other things. I have an appointment with an orthopedic surgeon on Friday.
