Standard-winged Nightjar for A.E.! Thank you for your #Waymakers donation! 🎨🪶 #SciArt #BirdArt We're down to the last day for donations, don't miss out! Every dollar goes to helping immigrant kids in the US! Donate here: youngcenter.donordrive.com/campaigns/Bi... @theyoungcenter.bsky.social

Illustration of a Standard-winged Nightjar doing a display flight in front of a big beautiful glowing full moon. The nightjar, a mottled gray/brown/white bird, has long pointed wingtips, a short stubby beak, and a big black eye. It is flying with wings bent low in an upside-down U shape while wiggling its strange "standards" - elongated huge shiny black primaries that bend upward from the wings and look like black pointed flags.

There must be a big weather change coming because I've had a (thankfully) minor cluster headache most of the morning. Maybe it's not really a cluster headache but it's in my left eye and it's usually the weather changing when this happens so. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

A collage image of six different dark art paintings done by the poster of various skull headed humanoid figures, most with their skulls floating above dismembered torsos and other mystical features.

A collage of six digital art pieces. The top row is of three different portrait pieces of three male characters. The bottom row are the same three characters, the left one is a full-body piece, the middle a bust style portrait, and the right is a full-body drawing of the elf character.

A collage of three different digital paintings. One is a portrait of a headless figure in a suit and tie with two glowing halos of different sizes floating where the head would be. Second is of a jackal skull floating above the neck of a dismembered, semi-human, teal torso. Last is of a giant, four-armed, skull-headed figure floating in a large thunder cloud with several bolts of lighting generating from its hands and the cloud as sunlight shines from behind it all.

I'm trying to figure out how to paint trees in the distance digitally and omggggggggggggggggggggg 😩 New hell unlocked. Mostly I just can't seem to find a brush out of my already thousand plus brushes that can achieve the look I know will work. Will I finally make my own brush? Time will tell.

can we PLEASE bring back the word "poser" and stop using "larp" or "cosplay" - being a "poser" or "faking" being into something is lazy and disingenuous whereas cosplayers and actual larpers are passionate about their hobbies and out a lot of time and effort into them

A bit of an experiment piece to test out some blending modes and brushes to see how I can use them. I might return to this concept at a later date since I'm not too happy with how this turned out, but it did help me understand some functions in CSP better. 🖼️ #art #DarkArt #surrealism

Some more potion bottle design concepts. These are definitely for storage/display rather than for use in the field. 🖼️ #art #ConceptArt #ItemDesign #VisDev

Four digital drawings of different potion bottle designs. First is a more traditional tear-drop shaped bottle. Second is a rectangular shaped bottle. Third is in the shape of a toad stool mushroom (amanita muscaria). Fourth is a green glass, slightly tear drop shaped bottle with gold oak leaves around the neck, draping on the glass body, and an acorn stopper.
