Eh, I don't really like that. Intersex conditions are really broad and none of them are really as clean as "dick and balls and tits and pussy". Still just feels like it's adopting real-world language of a minority group and using it for something entirely fictional. It's kinda a no-win scenario.

In my writing I've tried to use 'futa' to represent 'fictional third-gender with dick and balls and tits and pussy' and trans-friendly verbiage otherwise but it still sucks there isn't, like, a non-slur way of differentiating between those. Entirely related, a shitpost I made a month or two back:

23. Arcane Adamantine I suspect this is by the Arcane Monstrosity guy since the name follows the pattern, but this one is pretty good. Very classic Quake, going through miles of sewer tunnels. There's a collectable system too, with like 15 hidden vents that I only assume unlocks a plasma at the end.

22. Slipgate Conundrum (S1M1) A remake of the classic Quake E1M1. Different enough to feel unique, samey enough to feel familiar. Weirdly, this one doesn't drop out back into the lobby, but rather into E1M2 for a whole campaign run.

21. Ak-Alakha This one rules. I suspect it's by the same guy who did The Forgotten since it uses a lot of the same tricks, but this one's gimmick is it's a one-room show. You ascend and descend again and again, fighting enemies that spawn in all sorts of directions. Also, a tough boss fight! A++.

20. Ogre Fortress (E2M2) A really cool take on E2M2 to the point I honestly barely recognized it. Not too hard, with lots of opportunities for shortcuts and a fun Quad run halfway through.

19. The Forgotten What a level! An oppressive dungeon crawl through a dark, musty sepulcher. Ammo is sparse and enemies abound, with tons of secrets and even a bunch of Lore:tm: Great stuff. I usually try to find a scenic place for the screenshot but just _look_ at this place from out-of-bounds.

18. Per Aspera Ad Inferi Sewer (Lava). Kinda basic, though there are a couple tricky encounters and ambushes here and there. Very much felt like someone's first go at a 'real' Quake map.

17. Leptis Magna A very cool map that's half Foggy Bogbottom in that the floors and walls just start falling apart at a point, and half Realm of Enceladus with its winding corridors and heavy use of stone troops, with a very tricky boss encounter at the end. Really, really enjoyed this one.

16. Nyarlathotep's Sand Castle Ranger Quake: Tomb Raider. A dungeon delve into an Egyptian tomb, with a lot of secrets but not a whole lot else going for it unfortunately. Fun to find all the hidden passages and Quake-shaped cartouches, though.

15. The Horde of Zendar Probably the hardest map yet! Skulking through the streets of a very, very hostile medieval city filled with knights, ogres and shamblers. Lots of interconnected pathways and secrets, with a big melee in the central hub at the end. Very very good.

14. Arcane Monstrosity Well, it was only a matter of time until there was an actively bad one. A floating, abstract techbase where you fight grunts two-at-a-time with an easy setpiece at the end. Not monstrous at all. It's false advertising, really.

13. The Realm of Enceladus A beautiful map taking place on a snowy, floating island in a sort of south Asian inspired temple and the caverns beneath. Visually fantastic, with a tricky boss encounter at the end, though the golem enemies I could do without.

12. Terror Fuma We Have Half-Life 2 At Home Ass Quake level (laudatory). Lots of skips and fun encounters and, inexplicably, a ton of spiders and scorpions. I could have gone without the HL2 poison headcrabs and the HL2 health stations though.

11. The Underearth (E2M7) A remake of a classic Quake map. Feels more or less the same as Vanilla, though it's been a minute. I think they changed the geometry in this room so you can't ramp-jump and skip like half the level?

10. The Mire (DM5) This one feels more like a full-fat AD map, with a little nonlinear scavenger hunt about halfway through and that classic resource scarceness these maps have come to have. Plus it has the original DM map as a secret. Fun.

9. Place of Many Deaths (DM1) I never really played Q1 deathmatch so these maps don't evoke any strong feelings in me. This one's fun, though. Another classic Quake dungeon crawl with a fun arena fight at the end.
