Finally got my #EmDashCMS plugin for using Cloudflare's new Email Service for sending in EMDash pushed up to npm www.npmjs.com/package/@coa... Can't publish to the emdash marketplace yet, but it's available on npm now!

Getting locked out of npm is on me for losing my many years old recovery codes. Cloudflare's email service was the easy part. Having prior xp with worker bindings helped. Had to dig a bit into the sandbox vs trusted plugin model that emdashcms is using. I'll drop links once it's all the way shipped

Made an @emdashcms.com plugin to add Cloudflare's new email sending service (public beta) as an email provider today. It only works for emdash sites deployed to CF workers bc of bindings, but still was feeling proud of myself. Only to realize I'm locked out of npm, and can't publish 😓#BuildInPublic

Exciting weekend project time... going to try migrating CoastWeb's Astro blog posts to our new EmDashCMS blog (and 🤞hopefully make some standard.site records in the process)

Been building private AI knowledge assistants that sit on top of your own docs/wiki and answer questions without exposing content to the models. Looking for 1-2 teams who feel crushed by documentation or support q's and want a done‑for‑you pilot (1–2 wks, on your infra). DM or reply here for deets

Dropping a little Xmas gift to the ATproto developer community... I've wrapped the ATprotoDocs MCP server in a chat interface, so you can just query the documentation directly without needing to know how to install an MCP server. Play with it at: atproto-docs.coastweb.dev

Working on this week's MCP post, and realizing that I've almost exhausted my list of original ideas for this series. What MCP questions do y'all have that I could be trying to answer?

Dropping a day early this week, happy long weekend! Proudly presenting #2 in my series "MCP for Curious Devs"...in today's installment, why a Remote MCP server is a better solution, than using in prompt URL search when querying documentation sources

Working on getting post #2 in my #MCP series ready to drop at the end of this week! This time I'm digging into how #RAG (Retrieval Augmented Generation) works. You're already doing RAG anytime you ask your chat agent to search a URL or retrieve some content and then use it to augment its response.

You can now subscribe to our newsletter!!! Go to subs.blue to sign up to receive our developer updates. CoastWeb wanted a way for followers to opt-in to receiving emails on the protocol, so we built it! Now ours is the very first email subscription channel available on ATproto!

Soooo... I wanted to write about MCP... but I wanted to do it on #atproto .... AND I also wanted to make it like a substack that someone can subscribe with their email and it goes on my list. Sounded like a good excuse to make a lexicon and voila subs.blue is now taking all of my attention instead
