History touched down on Vancouver Island yesterday. In Comox yesterday morning the mighty Antonov An-124-100M made a landing. Operated by Antonov Airlines, it's one of the largest cargo aircraft in the world was like watching a 6 story building smoothly drop out of the clouds.📸 📸: Derek Heyes

Nothing screams classic autumn magic quite like raking a mountainous, yard-dominating pile of crisp Vancouver Island maple leaves, then fly through the air, and completely obliterate and disappear into the huge pile for the yearly autumn plunge. Happy Thanksgiving Canada 🍂 🍁 ❤
